The craziest thing to me is that this message apparently went out to the entire company, not just higher-ups or people making a livable salary. This was sent to people working in positions like direct sales on showroom floors, who make $45,000 a year and we’re just asking if they could get their 5% “bonus”. Granted, they do have 8000 employees total, but if she was given $4 million in bonuses then I can’t imagine what went to the rest of the senior administrators, so I just can’t wrap my head around not giving the other employees less than $3000 apiece. Disgusting.
