So i had posted on another video of yours from months ago saying i got a dental job without experience but i only lasted 2 days because my anxiety was so bad!!! I wanted to tell you that i took some time off and i got ANOTHER shot at a pediatric dental office and I've been there 2 weeks. Im proud of myself . it's SO overwhelming. I feel like they threw me in the deep end and im constantly out of breath because im constantly running around lol. They started me off in sterilization and also have me learning my teeth letters and numbers. I feel so pressured already. I know i need medication for my anxiety but im trying so hard to keep up. I feel like they all hate me. Im such a slow learner. 😭

How do you keep the momentum going at a job that you don't feel appreciated at? Do you think the right thing to do is find another office? I could use some advice Chey

Hey, Ive been in this situation before. I always suggest speaking to your dentist or manager and express how you are feeling. If that doesn't work or if it makes things worse then I would look into another office. I would keep in mind though that looking for another office may be difficult right now. But if you're really unhappy than it may be worth it. Best of luck girl! :)

@@CheyenneBuckalew I'm unhappy and uncomfortable at my current job; I've been there for 8 months...the dentist is a pervert and he picks favorites with his employees. I've been going on work interviews in the meantime while I have time off, and I've been getting offers this week. Do you think that talking to the dentist won't be worth it sometimes, if you see what goes on behind your back and what is said about you? Btw i really appreciate you responding. Thanks for your advice

Hi Cheyenne!! I’ve been watching your videos for more information on dental assisting. I started a one year course this past Wednesday. Super nervous! I wanted to see if you had any tips or suggestions for choosing the right internship. For my course we are required 300 hours, 12 weekly. I don’t know if you’d recommend general dentistry or another specialty? Should I wait until my second semester to have more knowledge or start now? Thank you !!!
