Italian movie, Creators, The Past. After 5 years of hearing and watching this amazing spectacle that is Dimash, he still gets me with every version of every new song. This is an OST to an Italian science fiction movie (starring Gerard Depardieu and William Shatner) called Creators - The Past written by Piergiuseppe Zaia. In order to get the right singer for the title, he searched the internet for the best voice and googled Dimash. He wrote to him and needed 3 different singers to show Dimash how he wanted the song to be. A bariton, a tenor and a soprano because no one could sing this song alone. Dimash listened and said yes. Unfortunately, there was no premiere because of Covid. OMG, how I love his jacket in this video🥰😛. Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

💥 They played the video. Audience stunned. In a tv interview the Director of the movie who wrote the song said they couldn't find anyone who could sing it ! A producer yanked open his laptop in frustration and typed best singer in the world. In walked Dimash they said, no entourage, camera ready, smiling where do I stand ? Well..over here.. in front of a green screen. OK. I'm ready. Don't you need to warm up ? Something ? No. Rolling eyes. OK Dimash ACTION ! This is the take. The only take. He smiled, thanked them and left ! They said they stood in silence. Finally a voice. What the hell was that ? Perfection said the Director. The audience came apart ! Everybody wanted to see it again !

I saw the movie over there, not great but the audience reaction to him ! Oh I remember now it was Covid and the lockdown, The opening was postponed and he'd done the first one, and all the hoopla and publicity and interviews all the stuff i talked about and then SHUT DOWN, lockdowns, original video on the shelf and they finally did another one much later because of the long delay, at least another year, before the actual release. His head filled the screen in black and white on a black backdrop stunning ! The credits in snall white letters rolled up the side, he sang and not one person moved through the whole song. They filed out in silence and I thought what the heck ? and they went ballistic in the lobby Who is that gorgeous man ? Did you hear that voice ? It seemed like a thousand. Italians talking at once and it was all about HIM. Covid ruined any chance the film had. 2 years of delays.

He certainly does turn into an electric guitar at the end of this one. Dimash has actually mimicked instruments with his voice a few times. On the original recording of Give Me Your Love there is a guitar riff throughout the song & it's actually Dimash's voice doing that. He often works through the night when creating & recording songs so i presume he 'sang' the guitar riff for that reason. He has also mimicked the kobyz (the wonderful Kazakh instrument featured in Stranger & many of his Kazakh folk songs) during a rehearsal & also during his concert in Yerevan last year (that I attended!) he mimcked a duduk, an Eastern woodwind instrument when performing a beautuful Armenian song live. You should look for that one. Its called I'll Die In The Wind of the Mountains, a stunning performance that brought me to tears. Thank you again 🤗🙏💕
