Love you & your brother & Carlos for everything! Good people for the community! I just started with a new Solar company inside a new market… the dudes doing “good” here are quite literally pitching to the effect of “yes it’s Solar, I know you’ve talked to xyz Solar guys or I know I’m the 8th guys this week… there’s just a new program (mention tax credit, PPA or power wall) & then pullback” I am getting destroyed in this DFW market though.like from 4-6sets a day to 1-2 a week. Is it just unqualified buyer & a combo of not being my customer?? I can hardly get them to even hear me out past the “Hey what’s up, I’m Charley!” At the door… This causes me to talk like a machine gun & end up blowing them up either way… HOW DO I GET THE HOMEOWNER CURIOUS ENOUGH TO AT LEAST HEAR ME? My team here is allll about rapport at the door approach obviously because of Vivint background (rapport, sales, rapport) but when I do I usually get: “what’re you selling? Make it quick. What do you want bud? Etc”

Maybe skip past the whats up and save the name stuff till later i would say "hey is this still the whatever residence? im following up on a notice (your power company name) sent out a couple months ago does that ring any bells?" then bring up some rate hikes they sent out and come back to the name thing with "sorry dont think i introduced myself im (your name) what was your name?" and if poeple come out asking what your selling just say "unfortunately im not with the sales team they'll be through in a couple weeks im just here to qualify you to lower your power bill so you dont have to deal with it going up on you again this is still the (family name) residence correct? im (your name)(reach out to shake hand)" then roll back into the pitch

@@Starr_unlimited bro I have , I’ve been a low skilled salesrep who made a great living in easy markets (I thought I was insane lol) This conversational door approach dynamic feels super hard. “Not interested” is now “yeah cool, is that your car?? What year is it- you actually mind if we look at that?” I get that part, but going BACK into the pitch is the hard part
