Yeah. Hardest part of the job is getting no answers and having to pee bc you drank a lot of water. Otherwise selling solar is easy and a no brainer anyone who listens does it. It’s just a matter of getting ppl to listen.

​@joeshaw5817 I'm still new but I've done a few thousand doors so far. Imo that guy was not a 1 touch set. I don't think that comment had any effect on the outcome. Ge already finished the pitch he had a lot to overcome to sway that guy. I am still pretty new if you got any ideas on how he could of done different lmk because I think not much could of changed especially considering how persistent hunter was the whole time. Personally once I run into a guy I know isn't feeling the pitch at all and doesn't respond to any compliments I wrap up ask for the bill and if it's a no I just move on.

Honestly, it's a great start. However, I feel it's far too relaxed. I think it works for him since he's a young guy; it gives off the impression of "I can come in and chill with you on the couch and shoot the breeze whenever." This is great. But you've got to show excitement to drum up excitement in your prospects. Starting with a lower tone Hello and ending with a higher toned Hello...(hello HellO!!) will give this kid a pop of color before ever entering into the details of why he's there. If he came to my door, I'd send him away and wait for the next sales rep. I wouldn't think this guy is passionate about what he's doing at all. Give me the facts, but I'm going with the sales rep who's belief is in their whole being. That all being said, way to stick around with the first guy. Showing grit and determination like that at such a young age is nothing short of amazing. Although, and I need to work on this too, that type of customer will look for any reason to say no. As soon as that's recognized, I'd pitch something like "so you don't want a way to save money on your electric bill? I'm telling you there's a way to do that, and improve the planet, but you're still not willing to show me the bill to find out if it's even possible for you? For free?" And walk away once I determine they're not serious. Great attempts at overcoming those objections, though. Well done.

I think the key is persistent. Sometimes they come off strong as a no but the key takeaway is trying to turn it into a yes. Obviously he didn’t go inside and shut his door so there was leeway
