They do do more Assassin runs! As an aside, if you're looking for more non-Manhunt stuff by Dream, I recommend his Death Swap videos, where Dream and George swap places every five minutes and try to set up traps for each other. At your own discretion though.

IIRC, the compass works in the Nether in all manhunts held in 1.16 Minecraft not because of Dream team's deliberate tampering, but because Mojang DOES add something that makes (normal, not Dream-tracking) compasses work in the Nether: the Lodestone. Using a compass on a Lodestone resets the compass so that it points to the Lodestone rather than your spawn, and this works in any dimension; the Dream Team just tweak the mechanism a little bit so it points to Dream and not the Lodestone. Before 1.16 they were not holding back; they literally cannot make the compass work in the Nether.

Two suggestions I’m not sure you’ve been told of: George’s Color Blind Glasses Dream Gets Shocked Every Time He Takes Damage

It's important to keep in mind for the first one that the glasses don't actually help George see the real colors of everything, they just help darken/lighten the colors he already sees to help distinguish between colors that would otherwise look similar for him. It's hard to tell, since George keeps referring to colors by their correct names, and Dream seems to think that George is seeing the colors normally, but unfortunately short of a full eye replacement (which is impossible currently) there's no "fix" for colorblindness after your eyes have already developed.

i forgot how much i loved this video, a lot of people just focus on the manhunts (which are phenomenal ofc) but all of dream's other content is really fun, too! anyway this was another amazing reaction, tysm! also just wanted to say that i'm super glad you're reacting to the manhunts in order. ik a lot of people must be suggesting specific ones in the comments, but it would be really great imo if u kept reacting to all of them in the order they came out! ofc that's just my opinion though, looking forward to whenever you uplpad your next reaction!

I think the compass works in the Nether in the later videos not because they coded it but because of the Nether update. There used to be no use for the compass in the Nether but now you can use it to track lodestones in any dimension

The placing torches underwater for air bubbles is a bug but only on java. In bedrock it doesnt work that way bc its a bug.

@@banooadnaan7502 it is a bug, it’s an unintentional feature. Bedrock can’t even place torches in water at all. Java should be the same way. It doesn’t make sense and a lot more stuff became waterlogged in bedrock then java for some reason.

The compass didn't work in the nether because there wasn't anything to respawn at so the compass had nothing to track, because of that it was coded in the base game to not work, in the nether update they added respawn anchors and let compasses work in the nether.

Definitely some of the best reactions I've seen, and you're definitely the only person who has done more than one or two of Dream's most popular manhunts. I'm really glad to see someone reacting to all of them. The first Dream video I ever watched was actually the manhunt with two hunters.

The torch trick underwater used to work in past versions until they changed the "oxygen bar" mechanics... Back then, even if you only left the water for like a fraction of second, your oxygen bar will immediately be full... If you placed a torch underwater, it will be immediately be washed away by the water, however, it is enough for you to renew your oxygen bar... In the current versions, the oxygen bar was changed so that it won't fill up completely instantly. Instead, it will take a few seconds. That makes the torch trick useless nowadays... However, for java players, there are still some non-full blocks you can use that is similar to this trick such as doors or ladders. Unfortunately in bedrock, if you placed a non-full block underwater, it is immediately being water-logged, which is weird... -For the compass that the hunters were using, I think the fix was unintentional. Before the nether update, compasses don't work in other dimensions at all, but with the introduction of lodestone in 1.16(nether update) compasses now has the ability to work in all dimensions, thus unintentionally fixing the hunters' compass, I assume that the dream team didn't expect this fix because based on their reaction on a future episode, they were surprised too. Sorry if I made the explanation confusing; english isn't my first language

Torches can temporarily create air, for maybe a second before they break. It would have allowed him time to live. Doors are better for making air pockets underwater because they won’t break.

There is a way to make a compass that works for the nether and the overworld as of 1.16. You can create a lodestone block with 1 netherite ingot and 8 chiseled stone bricks. Make a compass and click the lodestone, it will create a lodestone compass which will point to the lodestone at all time if youre in the same dimension as long as you dont break the lodestone. So if you are in the nether you can click the lodestone and it will point you to the lodestone while in the nether.

Torches used to give air back instantly because any air pocket used to give all your air back. They updated it so that air doesn't come back instantly and takes a second or two so when the torch creates an air pocket it isn't enough to stay alive. Also with 1.16 you get lodestone which let's the compass point to that block rather than the world spawn and that works in the nether too so I think that's how they got the compass to work in the nether in later videos. I play bedrock too

They hadn't coded it so it works in the nether. It's the nether update from 1.16 that allowed the compass to work in the nether. They were in 1.15 in the first manhunts, that's why the compass wasn't working.

You can find netherith in nether in in 15 height first smelt acient debris then put the netherith scarp 4 and gold 4 thogether to make netherith ingot then use a smithing table and combine it with diamond tools and armor it will be netherith stuff it is blast resistant and immune to lave and fire

I'm not sure if you've heard, but Dream took the 4th place spot for all speed runs in 1.16!! He beat the game in a little over 19 minutes :D

10:10 yes but also no since 1.14 changed it since in the older version you just need to breathe once to get full air capacity unlike now you need to wait for recharge so in the older version people would place torches down right as they are about to drown in the instant the torches create air underwater and the water breaking it it would give you back to full capacity of air underwater

Placing torches momentarily creates a pocket of air though there isn't any point in doing it anymore as you don't instantly regain air when leaving the water anymore, so all placing does is delay drowning a little. Also, in regards to doing a speedrun those are mostly just luck if you're doing a random seed speedrun. Well luck in getting a good seed and having a lot of game knowledge like where villages are common and stuff.

The torches underwater created an air bubble for a milisecond on both java and bedrock before 1.13, after that update in java you can still create air bubbles but is useless unless you have tons of torches because they changed the way breathing works, on bedrock you cant even put them underwater now tho.

Placing torches use to work to not drown.... cause it makes a very short time bubble that go away cause torches just dont stay under water..... cause gaining back the bubble use to be instant.. now it take time... that s why he died.... but like now you can try to survive for a little by spaming torches underwater... george probably didnt have lot of torches...

The compass never works in the nether or the end, the change was added in 1.16 I think. When you place a torch underwater it used to replenish all your air bubbles but now, and in this video, it only gives you like half a bubble of time. Many items that worked before now don't or get waterlogged, try using doors. I remember George's perspective on this video, look for it on his channel.

The compass doesn't work in the nether, because it's 1.15.. it will start working, once there will be 3 hunters I think, because that was the manhunt when they upgraded for 1.16. The compass works in the nether on 1.16
