Forestella is the best crossover vocal group ever. Unbelievable what these 4 gentlemen can unleash with their vocals. Respecting the Original, every song they interpret leads to a wooow different but THAT'S IT effect. I don't know of any other group whose work is so perfect. Everything is thought out down to the smallest detail. This applies both to this sophisticated use of vocal technique and to the generation of emotions through gestures, facial expressions and unique singing. And always live! I have the utmost respect for them.

Besides the amazing fact they pay a wonderful homage to Queen with this performance, a lot of people forget that they are singing in a foreign language that is hard to speak or sing for Koreans fluently, they also have proven their talents singing in French and Italian beautifully as well.

Adam, these 4 singers are superb! They came out of the South Korean show "Phantom Singer"---the goal of this show was to put together quartets. I recommend that you listen to their renditions of "Bad Romance" (by Lady Gaga)m, "Warriors" by Imagine Dragons, and a most incredible song called "Inner Universe", from some movie. I also recommend that you listen to another of the quartets named HPRESSO, starting with "Luna" and "Bella Ciao". Enjoy!

They've met at an audition program called "Phantom Singer 2" which finds the best male cross-over quartet in South Korea. These 4 guys were included(survived) in the final 12 singers among hundreds of applicants. And, the program PD divided those 12 amazing singers into 3 groups as the singers want. And, guess what? They(FORESTELLA) won this contest!!! When they sing on the stage, they normally set their positions like this. The first one from the left side is Ko Woo-rim(bass, a grad-schooler in vocal music), the second one is Kang Hyeong-ho(conter-tenor/soprano, ex-chemist), the third one is Cho Min-kyu(tenor, MA degree in vocal music) and the fourth one is Bae Doo-hoon(tenor, musical actor) There're many amazing songs they've covered. Not sure you will ever read this , but after I listened to your analysis here again ,you’ve prompted me to add that the bass singer Ko Woorim whose voice you really enjoyed, is doing his mandatory military service til May ‘25…he is actually what is known as a basso profundo voice…a rare subcategory of bass. Forestella is temporarily a trio …the 3 just performed THE SHOW MUST GO ON by Queen aired on 6th January ‘24 and HIJO DE LA LUNA…well, they have been particularly busy during 2023 including a 5-city tour of N. America in January 2023. 5 😅music videos later, scores of concerts and 2 Forestella festivals later, plus countless performances at various events and tv competitions etc, solo concerts, etc The tenor soprano, Kang HyungHo composed his first Forestella song which ended up as their m/v SNOW GLOBE..composed while the group was stranded in a hotel in Dallas, Texas for a week during a snowstorm while on their N. American tour…😊

I was a fan of Queen BEFORE they were famous. 😲 This is probably how Freddie saw this in his head when he wrote it. Even Queen didn't sing it live. They did the first part, and left stage (playing a video) during Operatic section, before returning to finish. I wish Brian and Roger would see this, and, Invite them to a Queen Concert to do "Bohemian Rhapsody". 👍 Try "Shape of you", "Bad Romance", "Hijo de la Luna", "Lacanza Save us", "Time in a bottle", "Sweet Dreams"... and build up to "Je suis Malade". 😢 💔 If you want to see those little lanterns used to best effect you must watch Hua Chenyu sing Mayfly at his 2018 Mars Concert. 😲 (You get English subtitles). This is my favorite performance of the full song. I do love Angelina's version but, you have to remember, she was working under a severe time constraint having to squeeze a 6+ minute song into a little more than 2 minutes. What do you cut? Great observation and reactions. You should react to whom many refer to as the best female vocalist currently. Her name is So Hyang from South Korea and her version of Bridge over troubled water is spectacular amazing. She also has a huge fan base so your subscribers will increase.
