Hi! Thank you for reacting to this song. Actually, most Koreans are gonna cry when they listen to this song, because it's about our sad history. This song is about the empress Myeong-seong, last empress of Chosun Dynasty. In 19th century, Japan invaded Korea by force, and they sent our last king Go-Jong away to Russia, and brutally killed the empress. They(The Japanese killers) cut her head with the sword, and raped her dead body in turns, and burned her. The Japanese people always, I mean ALWAYS did that kinda brutal deeds to us Koreans for a long time, so that's why we can't be friendly to the Japanese people. It's a song from the perspective of empress Myeong-seong when she realized some bad things are gonna happen to her. The melody and lyrics are so sad. 😢

포레스텔라를 사랑해 주셔서 감사합니다. 그리고 우리 한국의 마지막 왕조였던 조선왕조 500년 역사에서 대한 제국의 국모였던 명성황후에 관한 곡을 리액션 해 주셔서 감사합니다. 이 곡은 1895년 10월 8일 장소는 경복궁 명성황후시해사건 즉 을미사변이라고 합니다. 사복차림의 일본인이 현장을 지휘하였고, 일본군 장교(2명)가 이를 보조하였다. 사건 당시 서울 현지에서 이를 지휘한 일본측 최고위 인물은 부임한지 37일밖에 안되는 일본공사 미우라[三浦梧樓]였으며, 주요 무력은 서울 주둔의 일본군 수비대이고, 행동대는 일본공사관원, 영사경찰, 신문기자, 낭인배 등이었다. 이들은 미우라의 직접 지시하에 조선의 정궁인 경복궁을 기습하여, 고종의 왕후인 중전 민씨(1897년 명성황후로 추존)를 참혹히 살해하였다. 그리고 시신은 근처의 숲속으로 옮겨 장작더미 위에 올려 놓고 석유를 부어 불태워 버렸다. 주한영국영사 힐리어(Walter C. Hillier)는 사건의 현장을 이렇게 보고하고 있다(1895.10.11). “건청궁의 앞뒷문을 통해 일본군의 엄호하에 침입한 민간인 복장의 일본인들은 한 무리의(조선군 복장을 한)군인들과 함께 일본군 장교와 사병들이 경비를 서 주었다. 그들은 곧바로 왕과 왕후의 처소로 돌진하여 몇몇은 왕과 왕태자의 측근들을 붙잡았고, 다른 자들은 왕후의 침실로 향하였다. 이 때 궁내에 있던 궁내부대신 이경직(李耕稙)은 서둘러 왕후에게 급보를 전하였고, 왕후와 궁녀들이 잠자리에서 뛰쳐나와 숨으려던 순간이었다. 그 때 흉도들이 달려 들어오자 이경직은 왕후를 보호하기 위해 두 팔을 벌려 가로막았다. 흉도들 중 하나가 왕후를 찾아내기 위해 왕후의 사진을 손에 지니고 있었던 데다, 그의 그러한 행동은 오히려 흉도들에게(왕후를 알아보게 하는) 용이한 단서가 되었다. 이경직은 내려친 칼날에 양팔목을 잘려 중상을 입고 쓰러져 피를 흘리며 죽었다. 왕후는 뜰 아래로 뛰쳐나갔지만 곧 붙잡혀 넘어뜨려졌다. 그 뒤 흉도들은 왕후의 가슴을 짓밟으며 일본도를 휘둘러 거듭 내려 쳤다. 실수가 없도록 확실히 해치우기 위해 그들은 왕후와 용모가 비슷한 몇몇 궁녀들까지 함께 살해하였다. 그 때 왕후의 의녀(女侍醫)가(가까스로 용기를 내어) 앞으로 나아가 손수건으로 왕후의 얼굴을 가려 주었다. 한 둘의 시신이 숲에서 불태워 지고, 나머지는 궁궐밖으로 옮겨가 처리되었다”(『주한영국영사의 보고문』). 오늘날까지도 한국 정부와, 러시아, 영국측 증거가 넘쳐나는데도 불구하고、일본 정부와 일본측은 철저히 자료를 인멸, 역사를 거짓 왜곡하고 있기 때문에 한국인들에게 일본인은 철천지원수입니다. 그리고 우리 한국에 여행오시면 꼭 명성황후께서 살해 당한 궁궐에 가 보시길. 너무 아름답습니다…🥺🥺🥺
