They trash each other, and the moment one makes an odd noise, the tone shifts immediately to concern to find out if the other is okay. The best part is when Connor says something and the little chibi mouse with the glowsticks pops up in the corner with a "Yay!". It is the most genuine thing I've encountered in years. When I was watching the episode were Garnt talked shit about bread, I felt my heart crack. As a German, I love bread! Even though I don't eat it that often anymore, I still fall in love every time eating a fresh warm crusty or farmhouse bread (If that's what it's called in English) I can eat that without any toppings, but butter goes really well on it, too. In Germany, there is actually the (outdated, I think) tradition to eat bread with different kinds of cheese and cold cuts (? basically cooked and/or smoked sausages cut in thin slices) with pickles and butter. We call it Abendbrot. I didn't even realize how German this thing was until I stumbled upon a YT video of a French woman explaining that Germans don't eat warm dinner. I guess because my parents skipped lunch and cooked warm dinner when everybody was home? I only see "Abendbrot" in hospitals or very very German families, where even I get culture shocked by my own kin. And let me tell you, Garnt! While Baguette and Bretzel is made out of the same grain, it is definitely NOT the same in taste! You Don't know how good a Bretzel can be when It's fresh out of the oven, steaming warm and soft. Oh dog, I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Bretzel and butter?! MmMmmmmMmmh mmMMmmMmmmh!
