The title was inspired by a photobook from the 70s ;) and on the Lord of the Lost channel there is a vocal walk through of the song where Chris explains how he does it. We give our hearts to the Lord of the Lost 🥰🤘🖤❤

Finally Germany send something they are known for (their alternative scene). I was so getting pissed when I saw the jury (except Finland) shafting Lord of the Lost with votes, thankfully the GERMAN people chose Lord of the Lost with a large point difference.

Thanx for your very interesting reaction and your thoughts. Lord of the Lost: Dark rock meets goth meets glam metal meets synths including a perfect mixture of clean and harsh vocals down to growls. They are a rabbit hole with so many different styles and moods. They recently supported Iron Maiden across Europe and will do so this year again. So they they definitely know how to play a huge stage. They are great musicians and released beside their regular albums three acoustic „Swan Songs“ longplayer with a classic ensemble. Their newest album „Blood and Glitter“ was surprisingly released end of last year with only one week of preselling and hit #1 of the German album charts. It's strong but some notes sound a bit borderline blue to me. It's a bit of a pity. For German rock/metal I prefer Fury in the galaxy-Dusk and Dawn. But I think this song can go far in the ranking.

@@DerEchteBold I mean, it's not really wrong, but it's not quite in the perfect pitch. For example, at 0:56, you might expect to hear a C, but what I hear is between a C and a C sharp. Not even a C sharp. Something between. A little later, at 1:02, it is clearly a C that he sings, as expected. It's a shame because it's really disturbing.

@@flo6067 Oh my, do you actually have perfect pitch or are you just used to over-processed modern vocals? Did you compare it to the studio recording, to make sure it's not exactly the way it's supposed to sound? I wouldn't know. Anyways, what I don't like is his accent, it's close to a solid one but it doesn't sound good enough to me, I mean, if he can't do a good one in English he should rather go with German, that could suit this kind of music quite well actually.

jury votes maybe, last year was the exception with the public vote going more for solidarity with ukraine but moldova did insanely well with the public and not the juries metal always has a fanbase in esc, they will probably get top 10 in the televotes but not so well with juries
