I just had hip surgery...I got a screw in my bone to connect 2 of them...I am 11 years old....I had it 2 days ago....I know what u r going through...I am in a wheelchair for 10 weeks!👍🏻🤒😰😰 but keep going....and everything will get better!!👍🏻🤗🥰🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Literally gonna have a similar surgery soon except it’s my L5/S1 disc. My nerve pain has been in my left leg for about 10 months! I’m planning on getting back to playing rugby in about 6 months! I’m sure your recovery videos are gonna be such an inspiration and is gonna be what I need. Happy recovering! ❤️

Seeing you already out of the hospital and doing things around your apartment is awesome. When I had my first surgery and fusion on C4,C5,C6 I was still in the hospital for a full week and had spent 2 days in the ICU. Because of where my fusion was I lost 50% mobility in my head and neck and couldn’t lift my arms up for 2 months. I remember getting frustrated because I couldn’t do much and my Neuro surgeon telling me to stop pushing myself because my situation was much more severe than those that other people were trying to compare it to. My teaching assistant was telling me about how quickly a student ‘s parent had surgery after me and was back to work 3 days later and how her brother in law was back after only a week or two. Everyone’s experience is different and shouldn’t be compared to anyone else. Doing to much to soon can set you back on your recovery. I definitely learned that one.

Hi Nile, long time supporter of your channel, and just wanted to say I know the struggles you're going through. I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer 6 months ago, and had a major neck surgery to whip my thyroid and 30 lymph nodes out of my neck. The way you're recovering so quickly from this makes me sure you will be back on the bars in no time. Just listen to your body, gently push yourself and maintain your confidence. I believe in you! PS your scar will also heal very quickly, but if you're ever conscious about it, bio oil works wonders

When I had my neck surgery (I had c5 crushed in an accident, removed, a bone graft from my hip placed in and then a c4-c6 fusion). I remember being so surprised the surgery was through the front of my neck. I was temporarily paralyzed, so it wasn't painful, couldn't feel or move... Just really hard recovery with small incremental progress to be able to do anything again. I hope you heal quickly.
