Helium is such an easily digestible beatboxer. I could listen to him nonstop. You hit the nail on the head when you said he's pleasant on the ear. Helium has mastered the basics so good, that he produces the cleanest drum sounds ever. The best thing about Helium, is that he's 100% consistent. You always know what you're gonna get. He's like a vanilla ice cream sandwich. It's always tasty, and everyone likes it. Plus he's one hell of a live performer. His style is very crowd pleasing. Like King Inertia has that crowd pleasing style. Love it brother. Can't wait for the next one.

I've produced dnb since the early 2000s. Most dnb in beatbox sounds like the modern brostep-derived dancefloor stuff that a lot of old heads don't really fuck with. Not only is he doing legit dnb, he's doing two completely different subgenres. First half is legit jungle breakbeat patterns, second half sounds like an Ed Rush and Optical techstep tune with the two-step drum pattern, rolling bass, and driving quarter note hats.

The one thing I would say about the pauses is; don’t tell people to not complain about it and then apologize for pausing later on. It’s a bit confusing because you are sending mixed messages: pausing good but is also bad. You can never appeal to everyone. What matters is your opinion. If you wanna pause, then pause and stand your ground. That’s respectable! Don’t apologize for doing what you think is necessary, or valuable for you. If people enjoy your way, they will stay! If they want tailored content that meets their every preference, they can make it themselves.
