That was my favoritest reaction to this song ever! 💕 This is definitely one of my favorites by Home Free. Since you were wondering, they filmed this in Eden Prairie, MN in an ice castle. I believe the castle is built in different locations up there every year. I'd also like to mention that this is one of the very few arrangements by their beatboxer, Adam Rupp. I think it's amazing, and wish he'd do more. The Home Free seasonal one I'd like to see you do comes out tomorrow, and it is called "Snow Globe." It's beautiful. 💕

Fun fact- Adam Rupp (beatboxer) arranged this song- he was having fun showing off his skills in this one

React to O Holy Night it’s freaking fantastic. Also their non-Christmas songs are great particularly their “Mayday” cover. React to some of the stuff they do live too like “Songs the didn’t make the cut”, “What we’re thinking when we’re singing”, and when Austin forgot the lyrics to “Colder Weather”. And yes they are all FINE AS HELL.

When Tim say the line "Let us bring him silver and gold" the super deep note on the word "gold" is a Growled E1! The first really low Growl note is a G1, and the one at the end an F1. If you react like this every time Tim hit a really low note, then i can't wait to see your reaction to the "Bass Battle",, it will be amazing and really funny to watch!
@steveray96554 жыл бұрын
I was amazed that Tim's low notes didn't crack the ice!

Actually, the first low is a G#1 then the E1 and a second G#1.

omg i LOVE you guys!! Great reaction. This is probably one of my very favorite Home Free songs.. As mentioned several times below, "O Holy Night " and from their new Christmas Album... "Warmest Winter" written and sung primarily by Austin (high tenor).. but have tissues nearby. and of course "Snow Globe" showing Tim with a super sexy haircut and grey streak.. "How Great Thou Art".. and jaw dropping talent of all .. esp the beatboxer Adam Rupp listen to "Man Of Constant Sorrow"... the list is endless.. like their talent! New sub here. .Have a great Christmas and a healthy safe Happy New Year... and Thanks!

Really love this video & love your reactions. If you want to see more Home Free Christmas music, they've recently dropped several new Christmas videos from their "Warmest Winter" album. "Cold Hard Cash" is a lot of fun, "What We Need is Love" is beautiful, and "Warmest Winter" requires a box of tissues. They're dropping "Snow Globe" tomorrow which features Tim in the lead. They also released a video that was part of the Christmas special they just filmed - "Christmas in Dixie" with Alabama.

Bwahaha!! Oh man, right before Tim's low note on "gold," I was thinking "Don't take a sip right now, sister - you're gonna spew!" Also, the location is here in Minnesota at the annual Winter Carnival Ice Palace. It's different and breathtaking every single year.

Loved your reactions! Can’t go wrong with Home Free! Yes, this is a great one. So creative and Adam Rupp, the beatboxer, arranged it. This was filmed at an ice castle in Minnesota. Two of the boys are from Minnesota and three are from the south. This video has Chris Rupp, the one in the hat, and he left the group in 2016. Chance, a baritone/bass replaced him. They have so many songs to listen to. For Christmas, try O Holy Night, Angels We Have Heard On High, What Child Is This?, Christmas in Dixie, Tennessee Christmas. Some of their more popular songs would be Man of Constant Sorrow, Ring of Fire. Tim Foust, the bass, has a 5 octave range. This group won the show the Sing Off the year after Pentatonix. You won’t be disappointed! Keep reacting!
@wirelessmikedj77844 жыл бұрын
at 5:14 in your video, that bass run has been coined "5 octaves in 5 seconds"..Tim starts high then hits that ice shattering low note.....amazing.

Was wondering if you guys know who Pentatonix is and if so, would you be interested in reacting to their covers of "12 Days of Christmas" and "Your a mean one, Mr Grinch". I know you did a reaction to Voiceplays' version of the Grinch song, but Pentatonix's version is pretty badass as well. Btw, new subscriber here. Tim's range is ridiculous. If you watch the video on his range (from I think 2017) he goes from an A0 to an A5, a monstrous and unheard-of 5 octave range for a bass singer. Next song recommendation: Their mashup of either "Fishin In The Dark/Boondocks" or "Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On".
