I suggest trying Homulabs' The Herscherr who loved Humanity and Elysian Realm story recap. Elysian Realm is arguably one of the strongest story in the game. Remember the dude in HSR that was memed, Shaoji. He's involved with ER story, that's the reason why people joked about the wholesome and happy story he talked about

Cutscene were already a thing when moon arc came transcend cutscene and reunion cutscene is both from moon arc part 1.5 had seele you and me cutscene which has way more budget than moon arc cutscene then part 2 new cutscene has even more budget.

The Flamechasers are the most powerfull warriors from the past era that was destroyed (some just got lucky or didnt really figth as some did other things), they are MANTISES (Massively Augmented Neo-Tech Integrated Soldiers) in other words are super soliders with Honkai beast adn, they are in some part the ones that helped to save the CE, some of them you already know, Kevin is considered the leader and was ranked I in the flamechasers and his signet is Deliverance (they arent ranked by the power but Elysia decided it and she give each one of them a signet that represents them, the signets apear when Elysia is figthing the big eyeball), Fu Hua (in the PE her name was only Hua) she is the XII and one of the youngest at the time, her signet was Vicissitude. All of the mantises have diferent powers and could transformn in similarity to theyre honkai beast the Elysian Realm is simulation of the counsiousness and experiences of the 13 flamechasers made thanks to the most powerfull psychic mantises (Su is the pioner mentioned in the video of Durandal, and Aponia know as the most powerfull psychic mantis she even created the Elysian Everlasting by herself and she fused her counsiousness with the Elysian Realm to protect it and wait for the one that could ihnerith Elysia signet and blessing) I recomend watching some of HomuLabs videos explaining the Elysian Realm and Elysia, he dont mind the reactions to his videos just want to spread the Honkai knowgle but it would be great to thank him, his videos are great to undestand more of the lore

It dosent have animation. But its worth to add the 3-stages boss fight gameplay video between animated short. The design during whole combat are wonderful to enjoy the story and atmosphere.

It's so easy to get confused juts watching summary videos but I have to stress that the whole story of HI3rd is crafted amazingly. They juggle multiple character perspectives so well. Also Elysia = Our Pink Jesus. She has whole "daughter of God", crown of thorns symbolism and sacrifice for the sins of future herrschers thing going on.

I hate to disappointed you but MiHoYo doesn't make Kevin Kaslana backstory video. So you don''t have any choice but to play the game to know more about why Kevin ended up became the final antagonist in Part 1.
