The songs he sang in this show were actually selected for him by his opponent. Weird songs were picked for the instructuor so that the contestants will stand a better chance of winning. This Contra is actually the BGM of a PS game with only music and no lyrics (you can hear the tune in some parts of this song). He had to arranged the whole song, put in lyrics (with some help) and showcase it within 24 hrs.

Both performances were challenging to him: I'm not good looking but I'm gentle: He said although he's not good looking but he's not ugly either so he had a hard time thinking how to accentuate the emotion in the song. Contra: He was only given the background music of a game so he had to recompose the whole song in 24 hours. AND the lyric's too long. He was still struggling to memorise the lyric before they started the show. That was why it was a big relief once he finished the performance. lol!

I prefer the first song, but I'm very impressed with "Contra" after having read some of the comments and learning that he had to prepare the song in only 24 hours & starting from just music from a video game. Very impressive. Hua is very good in expressing emotion, and I like how your eyebrows react when you are moved. Your eyebrows give away how emotionally open you are and how easily you connect, emotionally, which is a beautiful thing to see.
