Reacting to iKON - "U" MV & Tantara performance video!

Tantara was like an old way to call artist, performers, entertainers on South Korea. It's like a slang and was used to mock those who used artistic ways to earn money. I believe they don't use this word anymore. So iKON is basically telling us We are a bunch of ill bred Tantaras, but look at how we do it!

In regards to Bobby singing, yes the man can sing. You must check out his Love and Fall and Lucky Man album. He does a lot of singing. In regards to iKON, I love every song on their Take Off album; I'm not just saying that because I'm a fan, each song is just that good. Even the Trot song Fighting which Yunhyeong (Song) sings---personally I think it's for his grandparents whom he's very close.

Their new album is really solid, even the trot song wasn’t bad. Thank you because thanks to these 3 reactions I decided to go watch them live during their tour. I have discovered them recently and I’m still pretty much a gg stan but I think I’ll still have fun! Thanks Austin 🫶🏻

Tantara is actually an old slang korean word to downgrading entertainers. The song basically said , yeah we all are tantaras so what? We are doing our own thing and we are good at it

They seem like they have so much fun this comeback I love it! Both songs are great though very different. Also BTOB just have a comeback too and a killing voice performance that was amazing if you want to watch it. As always I love your reactions (short or long).

Btw based on your description of the type of songs that you like, I think Dawn’s Stupid Cool might be right up your alley . It has all the elements that you like (fun, summery and trumpets haha)

Tbh their position is not that important 😭 All of them just "all-rounder" and versatile. The main dancer sometimes gives a main-vocal energy. The main-vocal also have a main-dancer energy. All of them are good at vocal, dance even rap and songwriting. All of them also have leader-energy on different things. The youngest sometimes act like the oldest, and the oldest treated like the youngest. They're known for their easy-going attitude. They're so natural and effortless, always have a good time. I really like their "young, wild and free" energy. They always enjoy what they're doing, specially Bobby.
