Definitely do more mtb vids Sam. And riding down stairs is actually really easy and fun! Definitely try it. Although be careful not to puncture your tires, you might want to pump your tires up a little more than usual if you do end up trying it.

Thank you for all the content from both of your channels Sam, you never fail to entertain us, you're awesome!
@NarlyRider3 жыл бұрын
The berms are designed to catch the bike and help them turn. Also the angle makes it easier to carry speed around them, so on a fast flowing trial you usually get fairly steep berms to help with speed but on a jump line the berms will be shallow as you don't need to ride them so aggressively.

The red bike with the big back tire is Sam Pilgrim, he has a youtube channel about mostly MTB, but also does whacky crap on there too, and he daily uploads. Also, the reason you can't stoppie more than 5ft is because your going to slow. You need to carry much more momentum and balance with feathering the front brake.

how they go so fast on the turns is berms and technique. I've seen ur vids of mtb, and the trails don't have legit berms. If you want to blow through the turns, the easiest way is to have a berm built up. Also, whistler has a variety of trails, not just dirt merchant. You could definitely do crank it up, a blue trail.

4:42 it is not casing ramps, its just casing or casing landings, casing is the literal word for falling to make the landing. Or meybe casing jumps if you are not referring to drops (and we almost never use the word ramp, we almost olways call it a lip or take off)
