I'm sure Sam is a nice guy but I don't think he belongs in these videos. He doesn't really have a perspective or anything to add (I don't know if he's not familiar with Patek but my point still stands). He spent the whole video going "yeah", "okay" and "mmhmm", or just reprhasing a point that's already been made. Its like just hearing someone make unneeded ambient noise when its really not needed. I'll be skipping videos that Sam is in, sorry. Just my opinion.

I think the Reverso is the most important one here for revealing his taste. I could see an argument that the first two are still just "flexing", but on a bit of a higher level, because he's in circles where the hype watches are so common he needs to get into the super unique stuff to stand out, or to show his peers that they can't get what he has. The Reverso really underlines this isn't his motivation, and it's likely that he has those watches because he likes them and wears them with genuine intent and passion, not just to be different or special or as assets.

If I recall correctly, Frank Muller modified the Rolex movement to make it a perpetual calendar. So, the movement is still Rolex with some additional calendar parts. Ordinarily, modifications to a watch could warrant it being called fake or a frankenwatch but I wouldn't place this watch in that category. This is a very cool unique piece even if it wasn't completed by the Rolex manufacture.

Bron, on the other hand, seem to be more like Adam from Maroon 5.
