I've been kinda obsessed with rewatching the dance performances of Like Crazy. The ones where he performs on music shows were so good and also the one he did on Studio Choom too. The Set Me Free pt2 performances are also really really amazing. Jimin did his thing for his debut.

Lee Hyun is a long time soloist in Big Hit since 2005. He recently debuted an alta ego by the name Midnatt- An AI project by Hybe. In a talk show, he mentioned that among the BTS members, he is close with Jimin and Jin and hence how Lee Hyun and Jimin did dance challenges for each other. Jimin did one for Lee Hyun with the song Masquerade and its very cute and sexy ..one of my favorites 😊

2:25 this part until the end is my favorite because of how Jimin moves (and the dancers) it looks so simple but so smooth and doesn't look dry or flat or boring.. i know for a fact that if someone not a professional dancer perform this, they would overdo it to make it not look flat or dry or boring because they can't replicate the control of an experienced and professional dancer

The guy who was dancing with Jimin in the first dance challenge video is Lee Hyun. He is a soloist under BigHit and was there since before BTS was formed so he's the most senior artist in their company (at least in terms of how long he's worked there). He's really adorable when he interacts with BTS and TXT members. You might see him if you ever react to BigHit family photoshoots where he, BTS and TXT are together.

Jimin's been dancing since he was a child. He's done contemporary, ballet, popping, hip-hop... He's also, last I knew, a 2nd dan black belt in Taekwondo, he also has kendo training and he knows a bit of hapkido. (This is why Taehyung said Jimin was the scariest in the group when he gets mad. And I'm not talking about the 'sassy angry' either. I'm talking about the 'emotionless face, flat eyes and quiet voice angry'. The kind of anger that makes one want to hurt people.)

Watching you react to this video reminded me of a couple of things. I don't think you've watched it yet, but Yoongi's Haegum actually had some choreo for it and pretty challenging choreo at that. He did a dance practice for it in this same room. He also had a dance challenge for Haegum. Jimin joined him for that one and he danced with Jimin for the dance challenge for this song. Several Hybe artists did but, for me, Yoongi was a surprise.

I believe Lee Hyun has been a solo artist under BigHit since 2007. I’m pretty sure he was in a group before that but I don’t think it was under BigHit. BTS started to be formed in 2010 and debuted in 2013, so he is the oldest BigHit artist and was there for all the hardships when the label was almost bankrupt. I think his genre of songs are ballads though, not really a K-pop artist, but then again neither are BTS really…

Yes, Lee Hyun was part of 8Eight and a vocal duo, Homme, before going solo. Big Hit has three artists: Lee Hyun, BTS, and TXT. He has a song called Bad Girl that features both BTS and Big Hit’s produced girl group Glam, who disbanded in 2015. He also has a song in BTS’ game OST album, BTS World, called You Are Here.

I’m not sure about copyright, but you should watch “Set Me Free pt 2” and “Like Crazy” live on the KBS World channel. Better than the original (especially “Set Me Free pt 2). If you happen to see one that says encore delete, don’t even click on it. It has to be a hater channel… so ignore that one. Lory, since I have watched your BTS journey from the beginning, I would be interested in hearing what you would tell your fellow Stays who refuse or are reluctant to watch/listen to BTS, and what you would like to tell ARMY who is reluctant or refuses to listen to Stray Kids. My reasoning for staying just with BTS is that I am fully satisfied with only them and I haven’t been willing to take time away from watching them to watch anyone else. There is just sooooo much content. Would you call that an obsession? Don’t answer that! 😂💜

My answer would be, you do not need to be a stan of another group. You can enjoy certain songs from other groups without being all in with the group like you are with BTS. Stray Kids were enough for me as well, so I was very reluctant into accepting another group. I accepted Ateez as they collaborated with Stray Kids in Kingdom, and they have a similar vibe. But I would not say I am so involved with Ateez like with Stray Kids. With BTS I said…let’s try listening to a few songs and see what is the fuss about them. And I ended up enjoying them more then ever I expected. I would just recommend you give some songs a try. You might be surprised, and even end up enjoying them too. For me Stray Kids are the OG as they saved my life. I was in a very dark place almost 2 years ago and Stray Kids literally helped me to not make bad decisions…. You can see that I am very into meaning and rapping and also good lyrics. Stray Kids give me this too. And I love them that what you hear is 99% them. They are doing their songs, all of them. I love artists that are involved in creating their music. And it you do not feel like giving another group a chance, that is ok as well. In the words of RM “Do You”. Do what makes you happy! 💜💜💜
