That corner shop joke is legendary. And no one can call it offensive. I mean, there's tons of convenience stores with people who are not from India, like maybe people from Pakistan (which was India before 1947), China, and then just natives within Canada (so this is for me), but a lot are run by Indians, I THINK. I think I've one been in a few stores run by a White person and I don't think I've ever seen a convenience store run by Black folks. And I'm not gonna make any jokes about Black people, running, and stores. That would be too easy. Also, I don't know if there are convenience stores run by natives outside of reserves. The only think that comes to mind isn't even a convenience store and is on a reserve. Rama, where Casino Rama is. My parents and brother go up there to get cigarettes which is *totally legal.*
