Boca in Spanish or Portuguese means mouth. Boca is part of their Dystopia series along with Scream and Odd Eye. The order is Scream Boca Odd Eye. Boca tells the story to the haters to shut their mouth if they can't say anything nice and everyone should follow Dreamcatcher because they are trying to protect people from it and try to find external solutions from all these hates. That's why you see Dami says something like "come follow me, lock the door lock the door" and Sua said "Too many angels dying now i am gonna change your mind". Also Dreamcatcher in Boca are greek goddesses which explain Gahyeon (pink hair) shed gold tears and Yoohyeon with arrow shooting and got hit by herself.

Hello~ I am a STAY, the fandom name of stray kids. The song you listened to is called God's Menu. I recommend you to listen to them on spotify, specifically their latest album IN LIFE. If you'd like to react to them again then I recommend to check the sequel to God's Menu which is Back Door. The message you see at the end of the mv is stray kids tag phrase. Make sure to check out the lyrics of stray kids ^^ Stray kids is a self produced group, they used to be 9 but a member left because of personal reasons so they are now 8 members. The members don't have any fixed positions as they do everything. The leader Bang Chan chose the members. The producing team of stray kids is called 3racha which is composed of 3 members namely Han, Changbin, and Bang Chan. All members compose song as well but 3racha is the main and have made their whole discography. They have been on a break for a while as members complete their military service

@@Dragon_Ball_Fan_Podcast block b used to be known as like the dark horse of kpop they had really dark yet comedic or over the top concepts. Very joker bad ass esque. In 2016-2017 they completely changed their concept and went for more colorful and vibey music. I think in 2019 or 2018 Zico their leader didn’t renew his contract with their company and started his own company. Block b says they’re still together tho. Def check out Zico’s more recent music like ‘any song’, ‘summer hate’ or even ‘artist’ they are very colorful like yesterday

Dreamcatcher song title track always has a rock element especially their japan song it's more heavy, but in the korea song they mix the any genre with rock elements in there like "BOCA" they mix rock with moombahton, if you dig more in dreamcatcher you will more surprise with their song/genre. if you want to watch the most aesthetic MV and sound more anime vibe you should check their song called "DEJA VU" this mv and song really beautiful.

Thanks for your reaction. Dreamcatcher are queens of the dark concept. Chase me, Good Night, Fly High, You and I, What, Piri and Japanese song Breaking Out tell a story of nightmares with their heavier sound. Deja Vu and Rose Blue are game collaborations. Scream, Boca, and Odd Eye are the parts of dystopia trilogy and talk about hate on the Internet, are more experimental. Japanese songs Endless Night, Eclipse, No More and Don't light my fire have hard rock and metal influences and also have a very deep meaning.

Well well well... "Boca" is the second song of their Dystopia trilogy series consisting of "Scream" and "Odd Eye". The series is a commentary against online hatred, malicious comments, cyber bullying etc . The song for Boca about them addressing/fighting against such online hatred (e.g. as shown in the lyrics "killer who protects you") and saving both the targets and victims of online hate, and also saving the haters by "changing their mind" and asking them why they are "filling their precious time with hate" or "words as sharp as thorns, if it hurts you, I will make sure you won't open it". The latter part is interesting to me cause in most discussions about online bullying etc., it is about the victims and how we can prevent it and the conversation about the perpetrator is usually about punishment and cancelling them for the abhorrent actions, but very few actually talk about changing their minds and helping them reform as their character and actions could also be a result of having a misguided worldview.

@@Dragon_Ball_Fan_Podcast Yes , other than I am biased and felt that the songs are great, they are unquely different and amazing on their own. Whereas Boca has a raggieton rock feel, Scream iis a combination of a EDM and that of a rock opera... well, it kind of hard to explain... you have to hear it for yourself but I can safely say that it unlikely you hear anything like it before. Odd Eye is closer to that of the traditional kind of Kpop song but some rock guitar intrumentals but still sound good. As for the story, as they are a social commentary against online hate and bully etc., in Scream, the imagery of a medieval traditional witch hunt (lyrics such as hands bound, stones thrown, burn under the fire etc, and choreography of surrounding someone pointing at a single person) is used to symbolized such online "witch hunt" which take place today where faceless anonymous people (theme of a mask used throughout the series) just post malicious comments and rumors just to hurt people and perhaps watch the world burn. Odd Eye is more about the use of social media and how it is a facade. With Boca, all the MVs are a visual feast with tons of imagery and symbolism if you are a fan of that. While their earlier works are musically amazing, I would say that message and visual wise, the Dystopia Series can be considered a masterpiece.

Dreamcatcher's trilogy which Boca is a part of is actually about the world sort of falling into chaos as it gets filled with more and more hate. I think it's supposed to feel a little off and distressing. Scream has a very fantasy focused set design, the lighting is pretty dark and sinister and the drop has very aggressive lighting, Boca feels a bit off because of the lighting as well and then the last part, Odd Eye is just all out visual chaos with glitch effects as the world finally falls apart. I think thematically it fits in well, I also personally feel that Boca is kind of the weakest of the trilogy at first listen but its a definite grower.

We're quite passionate about the group in general since they've got a unique sound (rock fusion but with many other genres) which makes them somewhat less popular in mainstream korea. You'd definitely get a whole list of people giving you their entire discography which I'm sure you already have in the comments. 😂 Their music is pretty cool and I think you'd absolutely love it. 👍 Edit: oh and they have no misses.

dreamcatcher \:D/ is a genre mashing group that uses a lot of rock/metal influences, some more than others depending on song. boca is actually one of their more poppy songs since the guitars only appear during the chorus pretty much. they are also from a small company and maybe least popular kpop group you've checked out so far so they don't really have the budget to compete with other groups mvs so they have to get creative. some of their newer mvs are higher budget but if you go back to their older songs you will see what I mean about making due with a limited budget. their debut song is 'chase me' which is also part of a nightmare story line.

Dreamcatcher are very unique. They are the dark angels of Kpop and the only girl group who incorporate Rock and Metal in their music, fusing that with Kpop into something that basically is a new genre. They also are drenched in horror and social criticism, which again is special. Plus, they are massively talented, all of them. And while the girls look like they could rip your spine out when they are on stage, off stage they are adorable crackheads. 😉 Boca means "mouth" in Spanish and Portuguese and is part 2 of the Dystopia trilogy, which deals with bullying and hate comments, in particular the online variant ("A trick behind a mask, a ridiculous freak" from Scream). Boca has the line "Too many angels dying now", which points to the effects those comments can have. Several Kpop idols have committed suicide in recent years, most likely because of cyber-bullying, but this is also about all the unnamed people who suffer from online bullies. A girlgroup tackling such a subject impresses the hell out of me. They literally go to war in this video and tell haters to go and shut their "Boca" in the lyrics. I can only recommend you to keep reacting to them, they are always interesting and entertaining! And the song is a banger!

*Stray Kids and Dreamcatcher* I see you've gotten good introductions from other comments, so i won't repeat them. But although Dreamcatcher is a more rock-oriented group, Stray Kids has absolutely no set genre. They are insanely independent and the sub-unit - 3RACHA - who produces their tracks even have the JYP's leader asking them their opinion on certain songs. Quoting the members of SKZ (Stray Kids) themselves: "There is no lie in our music" and that rings ever so true. Boca is a song about hatred and how people should learn to keep their mouths (boca) shut when they have nothing good to say as too many angels are dying for hatred to spread as fast as it does

When I first saw this line up I thought he purposefully picked a more "heavy" set of groups, but then I realized out of all Block B songs he picked Yessterday xD. Don't get me wrong, it is a great song, but Block B being from the same company as Ateez they do carry a fairly similar image in quite a few of their songs. I would recommend Nilili Mambo, NalinA, Jackpot or Very Good by them next!

Block B is always fun. They have some of the best mvs in Kpop. You should try Nillili Mambo, Very Good, Her, Toy and Shall We Dance. And yes, they are multitalented. Their leader Zico (first rapper) writes and produces most of their music and Park Kyung (first singer) writes and produces for them as well. Yesterday is one of Kyung's songs.

It's also supposed to have a "good vs evil" element to it, I hope that gives you insight into what the director was likely going for. Great video and great choice of groups in my opinion :) for block b I recommend listening to maybe 'very good' and 'nalina' they are some of my all time favorite songs and have a completely different vibe than 'yesterday'. Also you could listen to their sub unit block b bastarz, their music is great as well. For dreamcatcher I'd recommend 'poison love' and 'sahara' because the music videos are very entertaining in my opinion. The stray kids songs I recommend are ' the tortoise and the hare' and 'another day'. Maybe you'll like them too :^) Have a nice day!!

I honestly don't know much about Block B, but I do know that they're really popular in Korea! Their songs slap not gonna lie. Other Block B songs I would recommend are Toy, Shall We Dance, Her, Don't Leave, and Give & Take. I'm also very new to Dreamcatcher, but I know even less about them than Block B, but their songs are also really good! I'd recommend Scream, Odd Eye, Piri, And there was no one left, and Deja Vu. Stray Kids are one of my favorites, but in short, all I can tell you is that they are an 8 member, self-producing group under JYP Entertainment (which is one of the top 3 entertainment companies in Korea along with SM Entertainment and YG Entertainment). Some songs I'd recommend are Double Knot, Easy, District 9, I am YOU, Back Door, We Go, and My Pace.

I hope you'll give a chance to NCT too!! they're a unique group in kpop with a concept of having limitless members and units (separate groups under the NCT umbrella) that are either focused in different countries or have specific group concepts. There are currently 23 members (2 added last november) but they only debuted with 6 members in 2016. NCT 127 is the group aimed at international success but based in Seoul (where kpop started, thus the "127" which is the longitude of Seoul), WayV (WeishenV) is the Chinese NCT subunit, NCT DREAM was created to be a group of only teenagers who would "graduate" the unit when they turned 20 korean age, but the fans liked this specific group of members so much that their company, SM Entertainment, abolished the graduation system last year and made them a permanent unit. NCT U (United) is the flexible unit that any combination of any members from any units can promote in with any concept. A new unit is coming this year too! Not sure if it'll be a concept-based group or a group based in a different country like Japan or something which is also totally possible. Because of how many units there are with different concepts, there are NCT songs for any person's taste in music since their discography is so diverse. Also, they have an insane amount of talent. My go-to recommendations for each unit are NCT U - Make a Wish OR The 7th Sense OR From Home (regular or rearranged versions) if you want to hear some good-ass vocals. NCT 127 - Regular (korean or english version) OR Kick It. WayV - Turn Back Time or Moonwalk. NCT DREAM - this is a special case - you should react to their first song Chewing Gum and then react to their latest song Ridin' in the same video haha). let me know if you have any other questions

I really like these 3 groups. All of them have very unique and different style. Song by SKZ was God's Menu. They also produced very hyped song AWKWARD SILENCE or some slow songs like STORY THAT WON'T END. They also collaborated with DJ Alesso. Changbin from SKZ is currently the fastest kpop rapper. Fun fact: Dreamcatcher has got the same music production as Ateez and Block B are in the same agency as Ateez. :D Please, check out Block B's NILLI MAMBO, SHALL WE DANCE, JACKPOT or HER. Zico from Block B is now the 2nd fastest rapper in kpop industry. He also runs his own agency. :)

But they're always a breath of fresh air honestly. I think yesterday is actually one of their somewhat lighter/happier sounding songs, more radio friendly I guess you can say but they were also always known for being out there with their concepts and def have a specific sound regardless of the genre so I think it'd be interesting to check out their other stuff.
