Hey ebro you nailed what this beef was really about and the response you got "that the majority of people tuning in don't care" is also right. But that does not take away anything from the real life consequences of the black culture aspect of hip hop that kendrick was actually talking about and that it won't be so easy for the white corporate music america to manufacture and make way for a new culture vulture like drake in the future. That was what Kendrick really is trying to stop.

What did Kendrick do? For real let me know. His career has been 70-80% talking about social injustices of African American people. That’s what got him rich. He should be doing 30 to 40 times more than what he has done!! Unless he does things for his community or the black community anonymously there are only 2 or 3 instances of this. Drake raps about women, parties, and money why would you expect him to do stuff for his community or African American problems (even though he has).

I dont think Kendrick needed drake for “inspiration” drake clearly disrespected Kendrick’s family, his closest friends and on top of that that whole AI Tupac and snoop. Drake disrespected so Kendrick responds. It’s that simple.

Kendrick been popping from way back when, winning 17 Grammys, 1 Primetime Emmy award, Brit award, 4 American music award, 6 Billboard award,11 MTV music award and 29 BET hip-hop awards, and all kinds of accolades throughout his career, they think Kendrick is a newbie or something? Are these people dence or something? Are they stupid or dumb?. We're not gonna start to make up all kinds of weird fabricated lies on this weird new "throw dirt on Kendrick's image" campaign that they have going on, we're not gonna start doing that when Kendrick has been popping for years, they are looking very desperate and will say and make up just about anything that they can to throw dirt on this man's name and legacy.

“We’re all Drake fans” - after seeing his history of moving weird, my opinion of him changed. And seeing the lies and behavior laid out so clearly, my opinion of him changes. Rap wise, Kendrick won the battle. People can come back from a lost battle. But, given the truths that Kendrick and videos like “what’s the dirt?” laid out so bluntly, this isn’t just the battle for me. It’s the tea too. Predators, especially predators of minors, should not be treated kindly. And the receipts are fairly black and white.
