This album feels so cohesive to me. He really had a vision with this one I think! He called it his newest baby. :) I LOVE I know - it gives such classic early house music to me! It’s so so so good. Glad you enjoyed it.

btw novacaine was given to key by lauv!! key said that in 2022 they met in kwangya and he asked him for a song cuz hes a rlly big fan of lauv’s music ^^

it's such a good album, gosh! btw yes, the whole concept of pleasure shop is supposed to be how intriguing and dangerous and disturbing ai is. side note: kibum said during the resent consert that 'golden' was heavily inspired by the song "we are golden" by mika

Idk if I'm remembering wrong but he said he'd been holding onto Golden for his solo work since the FACE era. I can see him picking it for himself after the other members voted not to do it for SOL.

Before Pleasure Shop, Key said he was debating between Overthink and I Know being the title track, with Overthink leading. Me, my favorites are Pleasure Shop, I know, and Going Up. Once again, this King!!

Yeah Key won the shinee solo wars for now imo. It's not as ambitious as Taemin's or as much of a contrast to his earlier work compared to Onew but he's as usual far more consistent than the first and this album actually sounds finished compared to the latter. Not a fan of the autotune in novacaine but understand that's a YMMV situation.

My favorite thing about Key is that he sounds exactly the same in concert as he does on a recording. I also really like the range of things he can do with his voice. He's just so talented.
