Stayed up for this one, always a good time when the Spurs and Lakers play. Glad we got the W in this one. When you were talking about the Barnes post ups - that possession was like the 5th straight one. The Lakers kept switching Reaves or Christie onto him, so CP3 just fed him the ball and he got a couple buckets and 4 free throws out of it in the 4th quarter. So he was in a groove when he made that tough shot over DFS

CP3 was putting on a passing masterclass all game (except that one bad bailout pass lol). Happy my Spurs won, sorry it had to be against you! The vets took charge and secured the game this time. HB punished any switch they put on him. I think it was mostly Reddish and Reaves? But he was cookin all of em 😂

@@nezzyJr to add to your point, lakers put the spurs in the bonus with at least 6 minutes left in the game. So that HB post up took advantage of not only the switch on defense, but also they couldn’t foul or it was automatic points👌

CP3 and Barnes won this for the spurs by controlling the pace and clock. Keldon played good defense vs Lebron causing several TO. Wemby didn't force things, Devin and Castle were efficient. We got a mixed bag of Bassey good defense and hustle to go with his dumb low IQ turnovers. Great game, AD is a monster but poor Austin getting abused in the post. #GSG

Im a spurs fan and enjoyed the win but watching that 4th quarter for the Lakers was brutal even for me Lakers lost this game more than the spurs won. They were terrible. They let the spurs go on a 10-0 run to end the 3rd to tie it. Then Lebron with multiple sloppy turnovers, Reeves and Christie getting cooked by Harrison Barnes, dumb fouls put them in the bonus with 8 minutes remaining in the 4th. All of that on top of only scoring 13 in the 4th. I felt bad for Lakers fans on this one.

Castle needs more minutes. I know he's not the best shooter yet, but his basketball iq is incredible, and he still doesn't know the nba yet. I know sochan is a great defender, but his offfense is kinda iffy. Castle can handle, drive, finish, and has a decent mid range. With wemby on the floor, he can do his thing more with the spacing. Also, hopefully, this means the spurs/lakers games will be good again 😂
