It’s a statistical fact that Angel Reese has higher rebounds in games when she has a lower FG%. Whether or not she’s missing on purpose to pad her rebound stats doesn’t change the fact that she’s not really having a positive impact for her team. A sub 40% FG% is just horrible for a post player. She has a lower FG% than Caitlin Clark who takes much longer shots. The main reason why people hate on Reese is because the media is manufacturing a rookie of the year race that just isn’t there. It actually is rather difficult to deny that Reese appears to be stat padding. She’s been on a rebounding tear since the All Star break while her FG% has plummeted and her team is spiraling downward.

Lets praise Reese's double double in garbage time yet again. I'm not knocking Reese she is a great re bounder but when starters get pulled you need to pull them all not just leave one on to hit the 10 point mark. It is pathetic at this point to not be able to get 10 points until the last minute and a half in the game against the opponents bench. I have been saying for a while if she gets better at the mid range and starts knocking them down consistently she will be dangerous but she needs to put in the work and she doesn't put in the work because people are not being honest with her.

I understand there is too much hate on Angel Reese and a lot unwarranted but to say people are weird for saying she is a bad finisher is just wrong. She is statistically one of the worst in the league. She has a lower FG% under the rim than a lot are from 3 point line. There is a lot of hate stuff you can call out like she is missing on purpose but she is a terrible finisher with not a great skillset in the attacking sense. She is an elite rebounder but theres not much more to her game. If you compare Clark to Reese for the ROTY, Clark beats her in every metric except rebounding. Clarke gets more blocks and steals also
