Guys I apologize about the cutting on the Blue Jeans video section! KZbin made me cut out a lot of the video to be able to post it otherwise the whole video was completely blocked!

It’s been speculated that her song “24” on the Honeymoon album was written for the 24th Bond film.

she confirmed that it was written for the movie! :)

I swear this is the song that just describes me and who i am. Lana got everything i go through with BPD down not just in this song but others too. The living wild, im insane, kiss me hard in the pouring rain etc...im so thankful for her music.

If you watched west coast you have to watch shades of cool mv. They both feature the same old guy and in west coast the guy at the beach with her is his younger self but she doesn’t age bc she’s actually dead

Just subbed for more lanaaa. Born to die was def a cultural reset on tumblr when it came out lmaoo. the whole aesthetic of her authentic-ness captured everyones attention w this debut. I think she has this mysterious allure to her bc she does seem modern w the way she writes and what shes writing about but at the same time theres a vintage retro feel to it, which imo makes her super unique. I love all her mv bc she is so stunning like even just her looks alone r alluring. Btd is about a toxic relationship yeah, "dont make me sad dont make me cry", the fate of the relationship was doomed to end from the start. (but also btd as in yolo) BLue jeans was also a cultural reset at the time, simple but so emotional and thats why i can relisten to it over and over and i always almost cry lol.

I was in my freshman year of college when I first heard Lana. She became a viral success on music blogs, which were a much bigger thing back in the mid-late 2000's. I think that a couple of people tried to bite her musical style, but I don't remember other artists really trying to copy her aesthetic. To me, Lorde, SZA, and Billie Eilish are directly influenced by Lana Del Rey, but certainly not copycats. Because her voice is so unique, she's truly been able to maintain her status in her lane. Charli xcx is kind of today's Lana, in the way that I think she's going to influence future artists for years to come.

She’s 39 this year soon and in btd music video she was about 26-27?

I think you seem older than 23 because of your voice and the beard... and the fact that your place actually looks put together in your videos. You have a shoe rack. Like, you give responsible vibes, which isn't super characteristic of the average 23-year-old guy.
