Girl… I’m an American and I don’t even share my lipgloss/chapstick with my own kids. Once they use it they can have it. My best friend tried to borrow mine recently and I panicked- but ultimately she borrowed someone else’s because mine was tinted and didn’t want that. I was flooded with relief. If the borrowing lip gloss story is true, then not only is it considered unacceptable in America, but it also signals something else interesting to me. Meghan is narcissistically trying to subtly assert dominance over Kate. For a grown woman to ask another grown woman for her lip gloss is unsanitary and generally considered disrespectful. So Meghan was testing the boundaries, being pushy to see how much she could disrespect Kate and get away with it. This also grooms Kate for further boundary violations down the line. My daughter had her school formal and had her hair and make up done. I told her to buy a lipstick so she could touch it up during the evening. She doesn’t wear make up so I had the $50 Chanel lipstick and I wiped it with a tissue and then used it. Now,if I had chapped lips I asked her if she had a spare new one as she always buys them. Asking Catherine to share her lip gloss has nothing to do with hygiene in this instance. As a woman of age and experience I can tell you it had everything to do with mirroring Catherine. As we have seen MM wore Princess Diana's perfume, has copied her clothes, poses etc., What MM was doing was starting to do the same for Catherine as it is Prince William she really wants. The weird thing about the apartment story was they Catherine and William were living in Nottingham Cottage after they married and even after George was born . William is taller than Harold but moan about heights of doorways etc. William, a trained Royal Airforce helicopter pilot, took up a posting in Wales as a Search and Rescue pilot, then in Norfolk as an Air Ambulance pilot, before taking up the role of a full Working Royal. 😊After all this they moved into Kensington a palace. Harold and his wife were in The cottage waiting for renovations to be completed on another huge suite at Kensington Palace. They even suggested that the Queen should let them move into Windsor Castle. She said no but I’m sure you’ll love Frogmore Cottage. 🤣🤣

My thoughts were a total mess during pregnancy and a few months postpartum because of the exhaustion and honestly, all my energy going to feed a baby. A lot of people don’t know this, but Princess Catherine gets extremely sick with pregnancy. She was hospitalized with Prince George, and in order to be released, they had to hire a nurse to administer IV hydration and anti nausea meds. She threw up so much, she would have lost the baby and possibly her own life due to dehydration and starvation. With the 2nd and 3rd babies, she wasn’t hospitalized, but they hired a nurse to give her these meds right from the beginning. (People were so mean about it an said “only princess go to the hospital over morning sickness,” meanwhile, she would have lost the baby or her own life without intervention.) The symptoms of this condition go away as soon as the mom gives birth. But I’m sure Princess Catherine still felt very weak from lack of food after giving birth. I’m sure Meghan’s drama was the last thing she wanted to use her energy on!

I've been listening to these "excerpts" for almost a day now. Everyone covers basically the same highlights, as well as one or two things that others do not. All I keep hearing is; "But, Megan didn't want to". "But, Megan didn't like that." "But, Megan said." Even after EVERYONE jumped through hoops, and put up with the worst behavior from them both. But, definitely Megan. Everything fell apart when she came into the picture. Everyone fighting. People/staff being abused. Constant story leaks and planted stories. Yet, "Harold" is so dim, that he absolutely cannot or refuses to see it. THAT IT'S HER. Harry is pissed because he's the spare. Maybe others made thier comments. But, his brother did not. He's misdirecting his anger of what others have done or said onto his brother. Did he ever think about what William has on his head? Or maybe turmoils his brother struggled with? No. Because Wm had to work and work and always be perfect. While Harry got coddled. Like his Uncle Andrew had a team of people covering his asinine antics. This his blaming everything on his brother and Catherine is something an 8 year old would do. This is clearly over privileged, spoiled ass-wipe who lives in an alternate universe.

I am certainly not one to give Harry the benefit of the doubt, however I don't think he understands that in a normal family where there is no heir, first born and second born are still treated a little differently and they respond differently to parents - there are common behaviors in birth orders. I think much of what Harry complains about is more common than not, and I don't think he understands that and can't seem to separate the two situations.

Do you think Pippa Middleton was obsessively jealous over her sisters relationship with the Royal family? You don't seem to understand that the palace, staff and family wanted to interact with her when she first arrived. The Queen assigned over 10 staff members to help her know the protocols and adjust. Upon interacting with MM, the staff didn't WANT to, but HAD to because that was their job. The "baby brain" comment has not been substantiated by any other than PH/MM, so I doubt this one and as for an issue with lip gloss....mountain from a mole hill. Unfortunately, MM/PH have told so many "stories" and so many different versions of the same story they previously told, they've lost all credibility.

Yes. So at this time, Charles has to support his two sons and their families with the profits from the Duchy of Cornwall. He shares something like 5 million between them, with the larger share going to William as he has a wife and two children (third on the way). I think Charles could see that Megs was unlikely to accept living on 2million a year. It would not be enough. And he was right. In her first year she spent 1million alone on clothes.

It appears that the ghost writer resigned when the book was about 2/3 done because of too much interference from guess who. Meghan seems to have taken over and may have edited some of the already done parts too. A lot of the language used and stories told just scream of Meghan's touch.

I really think the lip gloss thing was an attempt by the very immature MM to imply a very close best girlfriends/sisters relationship with Catherine, making them equals. Nobody over age 12 shares lip products, and Catherine is also royalty so therefore the rules are different even if they were friends, which they weren't. Megan pictured a slumber party instead of an institution with protocols and etiquette even for friends and family.

Even as a teenager I would never ever use anyone else's lipstick or lipgloss. Like you said, it's a hygiene thing! I've never used even my mom's. Maybe because it was drilled into me and the rest of the females in the family, you do not ever share your makeup. And they even gave photos of why not to. I can still see some of those photos! I come from a long line of hairstylests , and cosmetologists! All but one were women. So gross to use as someone's makeup! EWWW

This won't hurt the monarchy at all. It only made me respect the King and Prince and Princess of Wales more and helped me understand the abrasive things they saw in Meghan when she thought she was being nice.
