Yeah… Im gonna be honest here, I agree with you. Most of these deaths are just because lack of skill, while players like you and philza rarely dies early on. About Philza’s void death, he couldn’t really do anything about it, but at least the glitch is patched now. Most of these people shouldn’t play on hardcore when they are only playing their first 20 or so hours of minecraft. Hardcore mode is for veterans, for people that know what to do in dire situations and escape alive without panicking. Also about the dude who died in his iron farm, honestly it was just the fact that he was bad. He could’ve just done something SO simple like digging into the wall and up to the surface to escape.

That guy who died in his iron farm was Sips who is an og member of the Yogscast. He has plenty of experience with MC, granted he hadn't played for about 5 years and only started playing again when the HC trend started. Still surprised he made such a rookie move though, maybe it was just stress of the moment.

i do agree wutg you, og minecraft players or even veterans needs to play hardcore as it just tests skill, half of the deaths are just....no skill, as im veteran in minecraft i dont want to start a hardcore world because well i dont want to lose any progress, but even og/veterans will make a rookie move, as thoes ppl the vtuber or whatever i felt like she was just a new players to minecraft, as idk why you have this kind of shaders that you really cant see anything, i do have shaders but i never died doing parkour in nether while being in the nether, and il be honest i died a couple of times also because of my rookie moves, like the dude who died because of a creeper in dessert tambple and i died my self also as because i didnt clean the tnt and i was lisining to some music, ppl are learning from their mistakes, as i see thoes deaths are just really hard to watch, but tbhj everyone makes mistakes but if you getting mad at minecraft because you diead on a hardcore mode and because it was your foult, they you could change the game.

The dumbest way I ever died in hardcore, I was walking across one of those nether rack outcroppings in the nether, I had seen the shelf as I was approaching it and it was like 6-7 blocks thick. So I wasn’t super careful with where I was going, there was a perfect 1x1 hole straight through into a massive lava lake. And the whole terrain was going down one block, that one block dip in the entire terrain hid that stupid hole. Ever since I am terrified of the nether.

i remember i was in hardcore and came the fourth day in the nether already (got really lucky) and i was doing the using beds to mine for netherite trick, i had gear, full health and everything exept for a totem of undying so when i was placing the blocks infront of the bed i activated the bed and i was like 1 block in the explosions radius but i still died instantly. I think it was a glitch or something.

The thing is with Creepers in Hardcore is, they're more likely to fall MASSIVE distances just to land on top of you and blow up, like, they'll fall a good 20 blocks just to blow you up, it's nuts, and for an early Hardcore player trying to find Iron, that can mean having to make a new world

the way that i survived 576 days in my own hardcore world is that every time your in a near-death experiene CLICK ESC, AND LOOK AT YOUR HOTBAR, or your sorroundings. Once I was attempting to do star trader and a phantom swooped in and booped me off, I didn't have any totems at the time (I wanted to complete all advancments before making any CRAZY farms like a raid farm) so I was falling from max height and there was no water, I was like 200 blocks away from land so i quickly clicked esc and saw which slot my water bucket was at, I was spamming that key and then I pressed esc again, then I clutched SO FRIGGIN HARD and I was kinda mad I didn't get Caves And Cliffs but its fine Spookiest thing at day 438
