Fred seeing you react to this era of music is so cool. You can see in your eyes how much you connect with that time in your life. Its also so interesting watching you reflect on tbs songs. This may be too personal of a topic for you (but maybe not). I think a ton of us would love to know what ultimately lead to your decision to leave the band, and if looking back now if there was any regret in that decision. I dont know how close you are with any of the guys anymore. But one of my dreams would be to see everything come full circle now that everyone is older, and for you to rejoin the band. Even if it was for a short run of shows. I would pay anything to see a tbs supergroup on stage together. Glad for all these videos Fred!

I'm loving reliving my teen-hood at the moment and these videos are helping me rediscover some of the songs I'd forgotten I loved back in the day. Hearing your personal anecdotes about your tour days is just awesome, especially since I live in a non-tour stop town in Australia so I never really had the chance to see many of these bands live. I recently fell in love with The Black Parade, as it's a great album to listen to while doing my janitor job. I saw them in early 2000 (maybe) when they were touring the midwest (Michigan, specifically) in support of their 1st album. I remember the vibe they put off, seeing them at the Local 432 in Flint Mi - at the time, that dark, mysterious vampire vibe was fresh. There was a lot of unique bands on the scene in the beginning of the millennium...all the way through the late 2000s. So many bands that never pressed an album, too.

I can’t believe i just found this channel! Fred, you are the coolest dude. I met you 100 years ago in Clinton, MA where BP played with Orange Island. My friends and I started a band after that show. And I still have my Breaking Pangea shirt!

Thank you Fred! I’m happy to find your channel. Back in 2004 I lived in a very small Russian town and spent my nights browsing the internet and downloading tbs, Underoath, Thursday’s and other bands MP3s one by one. It seems so far far from me and even I was lucho y to get to my first US emo shows in 2007 and had a chance to chill with few big bands of this era lately, I was wondering how good it was hanging out with all these bands in 2003-2005 and your stories are awesome! Thanks for taking me back in time!

Whoa, I didn’t know the guy who screamed in TBS had a KZbin channel. Thanks for providing a part to my HS soundtrack, I was obsessed with Tom Delonge 🤣. I only have one tattoo; the Atticus bird.

You’re So Last Summer and Cute Without the E are hands down their best two..need to include Straylight Run Existentialism on Prom Night, anything from Brand New Deja Entendu, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus Don’t You Fake It album..

That would actually be really cool to hear Fred’s recollection of his early days in tbs and his time during the TAYF era, including filming You’re So Last Summer. Also his thoughts on Straylight Run, Brand New, and the culture of the scene in terms of beef between bands back then.

By the way, I 100% noticed your fancy guitar playing at the end of This Photograph is Proof. That and the chord progression change at the end. What a perfect song.

Victory records influence on the scene is very understated or at least not talked about frequently. Those sampler cds that came out really helped me find a lot of bands before youtube!

@@TheColorFred Finch is much more then their emo singles suggest. Try checking out 'Bitemarks And Bloodstains', I think you might dig it.

I do not for a second disagree, but I did an acoustic version of "Letters to You" at my senior year talent show in 2004 so that song holds a special spot in my heart.
