This is so great! I loved the Elmer's glue bit (made me laugh too, so thanks for showing it twice!), and the way you and your wife laughed together! It's so much fun to watch you two together, and see what great friends you are. :) I also use glue to bind my flipbooks together, when I want a finished look.

Hi, I have been watching some of you vids for a bit, but I was inspired to make a flipbook as well, but I didn't believe that I could do it good. And then my school had a project where we could make an animation, digital, or physical, of course I decided physical. But I think it came out alright and I believe that I could make another, maybe longer, but idk because it was only 30 pages and took a while. I used a lot of the techniques that you talk about in your videos, like numbering the pages or testing as you go, but thank you for inspiring me to make a flipbook because I like doing it!

@@andymation Would love to see one or three lol of those wheel flipping machines with a massive collection of all your books loaded you could just photocopy the older ones to prevent damage and title could be "from page 1 to 90000 life at the end of a pen" then finish with an animation of someone drawing a flipbook with the pen getting shorter and shorter. am not an animator but ideas person enjoyed your work thanks

0:55 I remember those buttons!! Those were template button designs in Macromedia Flash 5 (it wasn't Adobe back then... they bought the whole company behind flash years later) :D I did a lot with flash when I was in Highschool and it was a pleasure. I also learned quite a lot of action script (the java script like programming language that is built into flash). I actually think that the constrained environment of the flash player was the only place where java script was actually appropriate and fun to use and made sense.
