This would be my reordering for the trilogy: Ends first. Michael's weaker from being gone and he just needs someone to walk by the sewer. Keep the killer's identity a secret until the end when we replace the very ending with a crazy kill spree. Next is Kills. He walks out after hiding and he's at his absolute strongest in the trilogy. Still gets a big revenge on the Strodes and the town pins him down but Turkish Dr. Loomis institutionalizes him instead. End with the first flick. Starts exactly the same as it did (which was fantastic by the way) and we sort of put the best parts of the ending of Ends here to wrap up.

I honestly think they made Michael weaker because if he was still as strong in Ends as he was in Kills, he would probaply have been impossible to kill so that's why they probaply made him weaker in Ends.

Congrats on the 13K! That's impressive Kylie. After I watched your Halloween Ends video the first time (I've seen it twice now!) I rewatched your original Ends prediction video and was impresssed that you nailed a solid quarter of them. Great job! Also the first time I watched Halloween Ends I didn't realize that Michael's house burned down. On my rewatch I caught it though. That explains why he was in the sewer, but I don't know why he stopped killing people for 4 years since it gives him power. Does he not know where his own power comes from? That bugs me. If Michael had gotten power from his house and it burned down that would explain why he was so much weaker in Ends. I like your Dr. Loomis files idea though. He was the humanity of this series for me after Jaime Lee left for a while.

My prediction was that Ends wouldn't be a satisfying end to the recent series. Nailed It! I'm not usually the kind of bummer who hates on entertainment I didn't enjoy but I loved 2018 and Kills so much that Ends really hurt.

Great video. David Gordon Green blew it his passion project does not belong in a Halloween movie . You don't experiment in a established slasher Franchise . He knew it would make fans angry . Micheal Myers is the Star of the show this was intentional to split the Halloween fanbase I truly believe that . James Jude Courtney was a amazing in his Portrayal as the shape why sideline him . Think the point of the opening was Corey told the kid he doesn't get scared and the kid showed him that simply wasn't true which lead to some panic and anger (shouting he was going to kill him) It feels almost like Corey had some demons that could bubble to the surface with the right push.

It did not make sense to me why Michael was weakened during Ends. At the end of Kills, he was at peak strength. Maybe the town burning down his house was the key. Kills made a big deal out of that window in his sister's room, so maybe that was somehow key to him recharging his evil meter.

Thank you for talking about Michael’s house being burned down. You’re e only one that talked about it. For it to be just only mentioned for a quick second was a huge missed opportunity to not film it being burned to the ground and the aftermath of it. 15:36 they do elaborate on it, but in a way that goes unnoticed, when Laurie is narrating at the beginning, you see a newspaper stuck to the wall that says “Myers house demolished”. I rewatched the movie a few times to pick out little details. You were right though, they neutered Michael, so badly that my Yorkee watches the Michael scenes to feel better about himself. I gotta say, I do like your charisma and humor, which doesn’t come across as forced. You got a sub.

I found Halloween Ends an entertaining and satisfying conclusion to, frankly, the entire Halloween series. Before the current trilogy, I only loved two of the movies (1978 and H20) and only liked one other (Halloween II 1981). There a few others (Halloween 3-5) I understand have campy appeal, but the rest are awful and unwatchable. For me, the Halloween movies only work when they're Laurie's story. The series falls apart whenever it tries to center the story on Michael because he's an intentionally blank slate; designed that way to explore the nature of evil. Every attempt to fill in a backstory or an "explanation" has been terrible. Did we like brother Michael, cultist Michael, white trash Michael? No. Would we have liked Michael driven by a cursed house, a mysterious radio tower, or some other secret force that dwelled within him? No. If there was ever going to be a satisfying explanation for Michael, it was going to be more allegorical. That seemed to be Corey's role. The movie used him to lay out an alternate scenario in which the babysitter kills the kid, instead of the kid killing the babysitter, and you still get a masked killer. Why? Because the possibility for evil lurks within all of us and can come out, especially when we are surrounded by people who can only see in us the possibility for "purely and simply ... evil."

I ain't new I just show up late! We got a good laugh at you with the predictions. Lindsey got a raw cameo deal in H-Ends and so did Tommy being killed in H-Kills. Hardly any character development in this timeline I would liked to see how Tommy's death affected Lindsey. Both of these characters should have been in H-2018 from the start. Ace Newman and old Huckleberry signing off...night night!

I debated doing a full length long ass analysis of the movie. But I ended up just doing a review that was about 5 mins or less. I felt like there was enough to talk about. I could get what I needed to off my chest and make some good points. With enough to get off my chest and point out another time. If I decide to make another vid on the topic. Or multiple. I've already made all types of videos on horror and other topics. I've already made multiple videos on the different versions of Michael alone. Even a few about H:Ends before & after it's release. I was stoked for this shit. Major disappointment tbh. Like I said before. The film wasn't nearly as good as the last 2. It wasn't nearly as good as it could've been. But I enjoyed parts of it. I've always been a huge Halloween & Michael fan. So I was destined to like this movie at least a lil bit CTFU. (Edit) Dope video too btw!!

I guessed the entire movie from the first 2 minutes of the film. (My gf can confirm.) I literally called it aaaaall out. I figured it was going to be a different take on “babysitter killer”.
