I loved seeing your old rooms and the story behind them! When I was growing up we never had any money and moved a lot, so we didn't have a lot of furniture and were never allowed to style our rooms because we wouldn't be there for long anyway. But starting with my first apartment I painted my walls and over time carefully picked out furniture and decorations and I so, so love making my home actually feel like one! Your videos are always so helpful and what you said about not having had a "pretty" room your whole life but one that fit the circumstances really resonated with me

I am so impressed with your amazing talent that you have. Your channel is very inspiring. I made those shelves you put in your moms bathroom. You have come along way since 2010. I think your space is much more calming and not so cluttered like a Michaels store. I am 41 years old and I look back and find it funny at the way I decorated in the past. It taken me until now, to really find my style, whether it would be in the way I dress to the way I style my home. I just spent 6 days decorating my home while my husband was on a mini train trip with a friend. I surprised him with a decorated clean home. :)
