I can relate so much! I feel like a lepper because of a condition I have that has a TON of stigma attached to it. Also I'm a cancer survivor too! 2 years post surgery and in remission woohoo! 😁 Congrats on keeping a positive view. You seem like a really nice person. I hope you beat cancer for good! It's such an unfair and frustrating thing to have happen but it seems like you've turned it around, grown from it, and are a stronger person today from it!

"Did anyone fall for this?" haha no, but that being said I never assumed your sexuality one way or another because at the end of the day there is no way of really knowing the inside of someone's brain, especially on the internet. I'm so happy for you Ricky. Finding your identity is one of the hardest things we have to go through as human beings and sometimes takes a very long time. I've been watching since O2L and the character development has been mega in a great way. Loving the authentic content and I hope you feel freer and happier than ever living out your truth.

Essie Vie I know there’s good intention behind it, but that doesn’t mean it’s a good thing to say. And it’s not just me, you can tell Ricky is annoyed by it too. Think about fighting this inner battle for so long, finally accepting yourself and being ready to tell everyone, but all the say is “I already knew”..... It’s not a mean thing to say, but if you really want to be supportive it’s not the best response.

I think it depends on the person you ask. When Ingrid Nilsen came out on yt multiple years ago she said that when her friend said that it gave her senses of comfort. I think what alters the reaction is when the person finds out exactly? Some people know they’re gay from day 1 and some don’t and I feel like the longer you “know”, you are really able to get that time to accept yourself but when It’s like a “I just came to terms with it a few days ago” then I would probably be hurt. Everyone has their own journey with coming out
