Dude, to appreciate Sticker you should watch the recording of this song. Sticker has so many amazing ad-libs, it's impossible not notice them once you know they're there. It's so good. Taeil really shone in this song. What I like too is the instrumental's rawness, it seems strange but it shows the vocals very clearly. This song was absolutely made for the vocals.

The "Favorite (Vampire)" dance practice was filmed in the same dance studio as "Lemonade" and "Sticker." The room is just so big that they can film in different angles and different parts of the room. Plus, those windows have screens that can be closed or opened depending on whether they want to be able to see out the window or to change the lighting or mood of the video, etc. Therefore, sometimes they have the screens closed to cover the windows and sometimes they are open. Almost all of SM's dance practice videos are filmed in the same dance studio. "Kick It" was filmed in SM's iconic gold door dance studio at their old SMTown building where almost all of SM's dance practice videos were filmed between 2015-2021. (FYI: Before SM built their large practice studio, as you have seen with a few of EXO's older dance practices, they used to film and practice in much smaller dance practice rooms that had an iconic cloud screen that they would use as a backdrop to cover windows and mirrors while filming, which has also become a signature symbol of SM.) SM moved to its new state-of-the -art building, which is named Kwangya, in 2021. Unlike most dance studios, which are often in the basement of buildings, SM's new studio is on one of it's upper floors so the windows overlook the city of Seoul, South Korea. As you noticed, you can see they have an amazing view with the backdrop of skyscrapers outside the windows. SM's dance studios are iconic, everyone who knows SM, knows the minute they see the room in the video that it's an SM group. For example, SM's old SMTown building is now rented or owned by a different Kpop company and it's surreal to see that company's dance practice videos, because they film in the same dance practice studio and the room looks exactly the same as when SM owned it. But that's not just SM dance practices, it's the same for a lot of Kpop companies. If you watch dance practices for groups from other companies you will start to recognize their videos because of the room they are in. For example, JYP Entertainment has an iconic dance studio that is bright red and the lights on the ceiling say JYP. YG Entertainment's iconic dance studio is dark grey and black and has a specific look and feel to it in their dance practice videos, etc. My point is that, when they film a dance practice video it's not just a random dance studio most of time, they are designed specifically for filming in and it's where all of the company's practices are filmed.

I love Sticker, but I always find your Sticker-slander so so so funny. The truly hilarious thing is that when the members first listened to it, Taeyong was really hyped and loved the song, the rest of the members were scared, because it was so difficult (especially for the vocalists). They kept telling us before the comeback how this time they were about to do something completely new, and they were pretty nervous about it. Then they won so many awards with it, even the grand prize (Daesang, Doyoung even cried on stage). And to make it even more entertaining, Lemonade was on the same album, just a b side. People who hated on Sticker kept posting about how Lemonade should have been the title track instead. Lemonade. The song that is about how 127 could not care less about haters and would never change the way they are for anybody. This adds to the irony. Don't get me wrong, I know you are not hating on them, it is completely fine to dislike some of their songs. I just find it funny how big of a deal Sticker was and how you always bring it up. Even people who don't like it talk about it all the time.

Btw if you enjoy dance practices so much (same, btw), I really recommend watching the UnCut versions of some of your favorite choreos. You can see how they practice behind the scenes, and how the members give their input. They are entertaining but also really interesting. There are some with all the members, like the Resonance UnCut dance practice, if you want variety and unique interactions as well.

'Sticker' is the hood track of all of NCT. Rhythmically Dem Jointz has reproduced an era gone by of nikka night... a night of chaos at the club/basement party. From the moment you leave your house, hook up with friends, have a stand off, sparks flying with the one you want for the night... it is a time capsule of the culture. He did it using instrumentation out of left field. 'Sticker' is a life that's been lived... when I hear it, the nostalgia of youth. Pick any city in the 90's... this track is your 'West Side Story.' They didn't need lyrics for that track, that's how impactful the composition is. Great reaction, they are well trained dancers, a crew.

Fun fact is that 80% of NCTzens hated Sticker when it was released.... But it got the boys a daesang and a bonsang, and also NCTzens always request the song in concerts😄 We just want to vibe with the queen let's be honest 🥲 It is almost acapella with very little background music, so it shows the boys' talent very well and a difficult sing, ilichil finds it difficult to sing it as well 🥲 Anyways, Sticker will always be the 'Queen' in 127zens' heart 💚

I can see how in NCT-127's "Favorite (Vampire)" choreography that move could sort of look like they are making a heart -- after all, they say "I love you (in Korean), girl you're my favorite" in the lyrics when they make that move -- but I think what they are doing is tracing the outline of the curves of a woman's body. (The woman has an hourglass-shaped figure, i.e. like the number 8, which is why they make a circle move on top and then continue the same move down lower.) "Favorite (Vampire)" is about being in love with the intoxicating power of a lover. Therefore, they're not robots, but they are under the power of the woman who is controlling them. You really need to look up the lyrics to the song. :D Yet again, the dance moves are part of the song, so if you understand the meaning of the song, it might make it easier to see the pictures they are making with the dance. Like everything NCT does, it's all based on their dream concept. Hence, why in the MV they are vampires and why you see them sleeping in the beginning and end of the MV. Jaehyun was bit by the vampire, which is the girl they sing about and she is the one that turned them all into vampires. It's the intoxicating power of the vampire girl/butterflies that has enchanted them, which is why they say "girl you're my favorite" in the lyrics. They are beguiled by her powers, which has them devoted to her. This is also why you see them with supernatural vampire abilities in the MV, like when they flash in and out as they transition between the members. (Often in romantic vampire stories they say the vampires have a shimmering effect.) That's why they focused on Yuta's eyes changing as he transitioned from being human to being a vampire, and why you saw the members become pale and less full of life as the MV went on. Vampires often also have magical powers or are able to control things with their minds, so that is why you saw the rose petals and the smoke trails because they were manifesting them as they were overcome by the passion for their "favorite vampire", etc. They're all beautiful vampires like Edward and Bella from the Twilight Series, not vampires like Count Dracula who wear a cape and sleep in a coffin, etc. This whole MV was all about becoming a vampire. The butterfly is thought to represent the woman or vampire they are talking about in the song -- instead of turning into a bat, maybe she turns into a butterfly -- which is why you see the butterfly touching their hearts. (In the beginning of the MV you see Taeyong open his mouth and the butterfly flies down his throat on its way to his heart.) You also will see a butterfly appear in several of SM Entertainment's other groups' MVs, which is often used as a metaphor to represent a woman -- possibly representing a connection to the heart of the Tree of Life from EXO's storyline -- in each of the MVs, as a way to connect all of SM's storylines together. For example, in aespa's storyline starting in 2020 Ningning's symbol is a butterfly, which is thought to possibly be connected to the butterfly we see in EXO's debut "Mama" MVs from 2012, and it's even thought, could be connected to the butterflies in SHINee's "Ring Ding Dong" MV from 2009. It also could be the butterfly that helps aespa navigate through Kwangya in aespa's "ep. 2 'Next Level' -- SM Culture Universe" video, which would explain why we see a similar white butterfly in a lot of SM's storylines. The butterfly appears to help everyone as they travel through Kwangya. (Everything SM does has to do with Kwangya -- even SM's new building where everything is created and produced is called Kwangya. Kwangya is the name SM has created for the metaverse that all of SM's groups' and artists' concepts, and most of their MV storylines revolve around.) Some say the "girl" or "love interest" that EXO -- and possibly now the rest of SM's groups -- is always singing about and you sometimes see in their MVs is a manifestation of the heart of the Tree of Life and that is why they are always rescuing or protecting the girl, etc. And why all their songs are about being in love with someone or being controlled by the power of that person, like they talk about in "Favorite (Vampire)." Or how they talk about knowing they are bad news for the girl but they want her anyway and they can't help it, but in the end, they know they might destroy her -- as they say in EXO's "Monster" lyrics, etc., etc. When you think of the girl as the heart of the Tree of Life the storyline and connections between the groups begins to unfold even more.

Hey I have a couple videos to recommend! So first it’s gonna be NCT 127 school, this is the video where Johnny was acting with that mirror in class. Another video is “the next neo model” this is 127 and they pretty much have to like make these outfits out of tacky clothes and they’re acting like professional models😭 Johnny and jungwoo are the judges which makes it funnier lol. Last but not least a series called “awsas” so since there’s so many members in nct they created this show to pair up 2 members who barley interact with each other to come over the awkwardness, however there’s two members who were pairs in the previous episode telling them what to do and say to each other in the back with like a mic and earbud to make it funny, I also really like the nct 2018 Halloween video

I know you're checking out a few groups rn but when you get time could you check out &team? Their concept is wearwolves and their storyline is connected to enhypen (idk if you've listened to them or not but they're a pretty popular group so most people know of them) but their songs are really good and their choreo is insane so if you do check them out i highly recommend their dance practices.
