Hey guys, if you're interested in reacting to an Indian movie, then I'd like to recommend Brahmastra Part One: Shiva. It's the best VFX work done in an Indian movie ever. It's also the first film of India's first cinematic universe, the Astraverse. It's available on Disney+ in English dub as well as in original Hindi with subtitles.

This movie is literally bigger and better than the original, but also answers a *ton* of questions about the Tablet: 1.It shows how the tablet works with *fictional* characters, paintings etc 2. It actually gives us backstory on where the Tablet came from as well as the history behind the pharaoh's family, confirming that they are technically the only real "real" historical figures in these movies. They're not representations brought to life, they are straight up resurrected by the Tablet Also, Amy Adams as Amelia Earhart was a *treasure*

Despite the fact that I love this movie in all its entirety, it also saddens me that they didn't go with the original script. In it, Akhmenrah also came with them to the Smithsonian, we also got to see more bad guy shenanigans, we also got to find out what had happened between Larry and receptionist girl from last movie, and I overall felt like it went into more depth with Amelia, such as how her sense of direction is always off being a more recurring joke. The original script also featured the aftermath of the Smithsonian battle when the morning guard arrives to see the whole mess and the script leaves us off with seeing a re-waxified Amelia sitting on the wing of her plane, watching the sunset.

I have seen this film at least five times more than the first one. I think it might be because you are already familiar with the premise and the characters, so no time feels wasted. Or perhaps because of the new characters: Amy Adams and Hank Azaria as Earheart & Kahmunrah are brilliant and hilarious throughout the film. There's so many funny lines in this film that my family will still quote at each other: A little grain of cous-cous, I'm thinking, popular baby names of 1984 and so many more. Love how this series really seems to care about history, the discussion of modern technology replacing actual artefacts, the acknowledgement of famous failures like Custer etc. The third film is a nice end to the series. I still haven't checked out the animated film, but it looks alright. Glad they didn't try to drag out the live action version.

Alright, I didn't see anyone else point this out, so it's clearly up to me: Hank Azaria's voice as Kamunrah--the accent and the lisp--was an impersonation of BORIS KARLOFF, a legendary classic actor especially known for his work in early horror films. Specifically, he was the ORIGINAL mummy, from The Mummy in 1932! Of course Azaria would choose to reference that here with his own ancient Egyptian baddie! Love your guys's reactions! Keep up the great work!

I loved Amy Adams in this, and to hear you James wonder what- Moxie was lol, made me feel old! It's a term from what I remember started in the 30ties and flowed into the 40ties. It's a little touch, but I love the shot of the Washington Monument- the biggest obelisk in the world- as the sun goes down and the tablet's magic activates (for a little extra Ancient Egypt lore that makes it that much cooler, the obelisk in Egypt represented a sun ray frozen on Earth, tribute to Ra the sun God)

The Smithsonian is a a great place to go to. I went with my 8th grade and the teachers didn’t realize that two of the Smithsonian buildings are connected by an underground tunnel until a couple of them that went across the street to see if they should bring us found some of us in there. Hank Azaria was the perfect cast to play Kahmunrah. His voice acting gives him an excellent range. The two girls giving Ahkmenrah a bad time in the museum is the directors daughter.

Although this film had good moments and great performances from the likes of Amy Adams (Amelia Earhart) and Bill Hader (General Custer) introduced to this film I didn’t enjoy this film as much as the first and the third Night of the Museum films. On top of that, most of the original characters from the first film like Teddy Roosevelt, those that were trapped in the container (e.g. Sacajawea) before being freed for the final battle and the T-Rex Skeleton (Rexy) were sidelined and had less screen time in the 2nd film along with the fact _Battle of the Smithsonian_ felt rushed and sort of reminded me of "Shrek Forever After" and while the stories are entirely different from each other, what both had in common is that the protagonist had to stop the main villain of the film in just a limited Number of Hours before Times runs out. Lastly, was I the only one disappointed with the deleted scenes of the film that were found on the Blu-Ray/DVD? Because, the vast majority of the deleted scenes for _Battle of the Smithsonian_ put *WAY TOO MUCH* emphasis on Kahmunrah and his Henchmen and not so much on Larry, Amelia, and the other characters. Even it doesn't help that the director, Shawn Levy didn't included any deleted scenes of Octavius and how he was able to tame the squirrel and when Amelia rescued Larry's Museum Friends that were trapped in the container before the final Battle.

Once you are done with this you should totally check out "Around the World in 80 days" . It has the same actor who plays Octavius as lead ( I forgot his name) and Jackie Chan. Its hilarious. And then maybe check out Shanghai noon and shanghai noon w Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson

This movie is a blast when you live an hour from DC. Yes, all of the exhibits and museums you saw are real. The Air and Space museum probably has changed the least (although it has had some major renovations the last few years and is just now beginning to re-open to the public). The only museum I haven’t been to yet is The Castle (the one with the big stained glass window that the plane flew through) the first Smithsonian museum. Yes, all Smithsonians are free to the public except the American Indian Museum and the Museum of African American History (the names might be off). There are also a few others not mentioned in the movie, like the Smithsonian Zoo and the Postal Museum. If you ever get the time, I totally recommend coming to DC and touring every Smithsonian 😊 I loved this reaction! Can’t wait for the third installment!!

I might be wrong but I think that historians misunderstood the documents about Napolean and they thought they said he was short but when they looked at them again later they realized it was about his private parts 😂
