What did you think of this ending??

Even if they were coming up with this connected plotline along the way with each new movie, and it wasn't always the most interesting or memorable, I'm glad they made Craig's film all one story overall, allowing them to achieve the impact of his death to end this one. Killing Bond is shocking enough, but earning these emotions had to be earned. Plus wouldn't have worked if Craig wasn't an incredible Bond.

I like the ending despite being bittersweet. The movie has a solid story and it tied all the loose ends. We have all the time in the world hits harder if you've seen the movie On Her Majesty's Secret Service. You should watch the other movies, they're very entertaining and very well done. It's the end of an era. Heroes don't always walk off into the sunset. But still leave a lasting impression on the purpose of being heroic. People complained about it. Most fictional characters go through things differently. I'm pleased with it's ending.

Some people didn't like the movie because of the ending, that doesn't take away the good thing about the movie, in my case the ending was good, I accepted it, a risky ending, and sometimes a bitter and sad ending is more powerful than a happy ending and corny.

Great way to end Craig's era, and killing Bond was a fantastic and ballsy choice. We all know the character will go on anyway; it even says so at the end of the credits as usual.

Paloma was actually a last minute addition to the film after the director, Cary Joji Fukunaga fell in love with Ana De Armas' prior acting roles. So he made a part for her in the movie. It also helps that Daniel Craig and Armas already had spectacular on-screen chemistry from their roles in Knives Out. Even with a small role, Armas knocked it right out of the park.

It’s not so much about killing off Bond, it was the story told and how we got to that moment. While this is possibly the best looking Bond film, with good action, it suffers heavily from plot holes and rewrites that makes the story convoluted. It was trying to be 3 different films inside one. While I did enjoy upon first viewing, it hasn’t aged well in the two years since its release.

In the book series, his final confrontation with Blofeld is in "You Only Live Twice" which was drastically different from the Sean Connery movie. Blofeld's lair in the book was in Japan in a "poison garden" similar to Safin's lair in this movie.

I watched this movie at the theaters with my Dad and I really enjoyed it. I loved the action sequences in this film such as the one in the beginning where Bond uses his car gadgets, the one in the forest and the final fight. I think Rami Malek did a fantastic job playing the antagonist in this film as his eyes, his voice and his expressions were so on point. Billie Ellish did a great job with the title song 😆🔥. The opening was fantastic👍. It was really hard for me to digest the idea of Bond dying in the end as I wanted him to retire and live a happy life with his wife and daughter😞. But at the end of the day I think it was just the right way to end the era. Loved your reaction and analysis guys. Take care and have a good one😁

Bond's house in Jamaica is shot on location. The place is called Goldeneye, and it's a private property that belonged to Ian Fleming, and it's where he wrote most (if not all) of 007's books. James Bond 007 was "born" in this house (Casino Royale was written there). The name "Goldeneye" served as an inspiration for 1995's GoldenEye title (this movie was the first one not based on anything Fleming wrote).

So, if you enjoyed the character of M. in Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, and Skyfall the actress (Judy Dench) also appears as M. in the four Peirce Brosnan Bonds: GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough and Die Another Day. The M. that appears in the Brosnan Bonds is not meant to be the same character that appears in the Daniel Craig Bonds, but Dench made such an impression in the Brosnan films that they retained her when they rebooted the series with Casino Royale. As I understand it, GoldenEye is regarded as the best of the Brosnan era, and also happens to be directed by Martin Cambell, who later returned to direct Casino Royale. But I'm also partial to Tomorrow Never Dies.

I never quite qot Safin's motivation. Avoiding Spoilers, but the "All the Time in the World" was used prominently in On Her Majesty's Secret Service, a Bond film that both Spectre and NTTD definitely pull from. I would honestly suggest looking at One film per Bond, and do some polls to see the favorites. The Gadgets, and the Goofy Scientist were VERY classic Bond.

This is the Bond of the old movies, the megalomaniac villain who wants to destroy the world, the island where he lives and where he carries out the plan, Bond's car with weapons and gadgets, the mission to finish off the villain, touches of humor also, although here there was almost no humor, but in the old movies, all those ingredients were very common until Pierce Brosnan's Bond stage, it happens that later in Craig's first movies, they wanted to give it a more realistic tone. to Bond, and they had stripped away all those elements, but in No Time To Die, which is like an homage to the old Bond movies, he brought back the old movie vibes as a farewell.

Craig's 5th and final is overall the 25th entry of the franchise. Going into this, i had all kind of feelings. The theme performed by Billie Ellish is incredible. Glad it dropped a year earlier and got the award buzz going. It was worth the wait. The story itself has so much to offer. Bond as not quite the solo hero and the stakes are even higher. Almost enough villians and allies for him to handle. The plot of the bigger picture or 'Preventing world domination' makes it all more awesome. At the heart, it's all about the stoicism of Bond. What he means to be as an legendary figure of the spy genre. Bond's sacrifice in this era at the end was one of the biggest surprises ever. Going in like a warrior and leaving out like a legend. Daniel Craig's time as Bond is up there with Connery & Moore's time. If your going further into the franchise, i would suggest the Sean Connery era (1962-1971), the one and only Bond film with George Lazenby (On Her Majesty's Secret Service, 1969) and the Timothy Dalton era (1987-1989).

There is a bit about James Bond villains always explaining their evil plan and the audience jokes that its dumb but here the main villain didn't do it so we have no idea why he did it after he already killed Blofeld. If only they could have made the whole series more consistant.

- 4:50 - 'We Have All The Time In The World' is a direct shoutout to 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' in which Bond does fall in love as well. The phrase is used in the title of the theme song of the film, which actually comes in the middle of the movie, sung by Louis Armstrong...and is used in this film as well. The only time a former Bond theme has been reused in a different film. - SPECTRE always had a nasty habit of coming back and wreaking havoc during the Connery era...so, Blofeld returning again...not a surprise. - 10:28 - James...the Aston Martin DB5 also had a bulletproof shield for the back window, could shoot jets of water like a firehose, change the license plates, and...a passenger side ejection seat. with the button in the gear shift. (Goldfinger and Thunderball). - Many actors have played Felix Leiter...Jeffrey Wright is by far the best one, with David Hedison (Live and Let Die and License To Kill) coming second. - I really liked this, even with Bond's death. The whole of Craig's Bond is its own story separate from the other Bond films, and yet connected to them. Like a parallel universe Bond, in many ways the same and different.

I’ve heard that the script had been rewritten a bunch of times and one of the rumors was that M was going to be the villain. Or at least one with good intentions by using this new weapon to wipe out Spectre due to their meddling in politics and getting countries to possibly going to war so that they (Spectre) could profit from it. And there’s evidence of this by what ended up being in the Final Cut. Felix speaks of both the US and Britain not playing nice to one another, that scientist guy spoke of “this was the plan all along” like as if he was ordered by someone high up to target Spectre, and even M not being so friendly with Bond.

If you guys decide to just watch one film from each Bond actor, I'd recommend the following: Sean Connery...Goldfinger (though Dr. No was the first, Goldfinger has all the classic Bond tropes) George Lazenby...On Her Majesty's Secret Service (duh, as it's the only one...and was referenced several times in this film). Roger Moore...The Spy Who Loved Me Pierce Brosnan...Goldeneye (though Tomorrow Never Dies and The World Is Not Enough are pretty good too).

A good line for M in this would be "The road to hell is paved with good intentions." Of course you had "loftier goals" for Heracles... but that doesn't change what it CAN do. A line for Jurassic Park comes to mind: "You were so busy thinking about if you could that you didn't stop to think if you should."

It would be nice to try out a few of each of the different actors Bond films. Connery classics include From Russia With Love and Goldfinger, but may want to see Dr. No the first Bond film as well. And definitely need to see On Her Majesty’s Secret Service with George Lazenby as Bond.

They hinted at Madeline being pregnant at the beginning of the film. She knew from the start cause when they part ways at the train station, she gasped and grabs her belly. I loved this send out for Craigs Bond. I think Bond needs to die more honestly, gives you a chance to truly start fresh. Love it hopefully you all do more Bonds. Craigs are definitely top tier but so many good ones from the past.

Honestly, the only problem I have with this film is that Safin is just a weak villain. As you said, his motivations are never completely clear. The script went through numerous last-minute revisions, especially when the pandemic hit. It’s been theorized that the script was reworked to exclude the word “virus.” Also, Safin seems to be partially based on the character “Dr. No” from the novels, and it seems like they may have cut out some of his backstory that may have made his character more clear.

I would strongly recommend you to watch ONE Bond movie from each of the previous actors,to see how they all compare. If I were to choose, I'd go for: Goldfinger; On Her Majesty's Secret Service; The Man with the Golden Gun; License to Kill; Goldeneye. I love NTTD; it's right up there in my 'favourite Bonds' list. It's really only the characterisation of Safin that lets it down somewhat, as his character and motivation is somewhat vague - and his "I'm so evil" speeches keep interrupting the pace in the final third of the film. Other than that....top notch!

I remember at the cinema when she is on the train and then puts her hand on her stomach as the doors close my immediate thought was “SHES PREGNANT!” Then I was like no she can’t be I’m thinking too much into it, then when the child was revealed I was like I fucking knew it 😂

I commented below, but also, when he puts Madeleine on the train, and tells her he will never see her again, her reaction was to reach for her stomach where her baby was. She was already pregnant and hadn't told him yet. As the train pulls away, you can see how crestfallen she is. Also, regarding the time thing, he killed Blofeld's henchman with the watch Q gave him.

If you don't want to react to all bond movies (which is kind of understandable), there is another channel who actually reacting to some of them right now ("popcorn reactions") but only two best of all actors which is a great idea in my opinion. So, to be clear : -Sean connery (from russia with love and then goldfinger) -George Lazenby (on her majesty's secret service) -Roger Moore (the spy who loved me and then for your eyes only) -Timothy Dalton (the living daylights and licence to kill) -And then do a little expection with Pierce Brosnan since they are both highlights and downrights from both "tomorrow never dies" and the "world is not enough" So react to the first three pierce brosnan's james bond but if you have to choose, do "Goldeneye" and "the world is not enough"
