I would suggest putting up nice floor to ceiling mirrors on those walls by the dining table to the side leading to one of the bedrooms. 1. Perfect spot where mirror could reflect the light coming from the terrace 2. It will definitely make your space look wider so it feels intimate but spacious at the same time 3. Feng shui has it that it's good to have a mirror by the dining area (kind of multiplies the blessing) 3. You could also ante up the lighting (cove lighting by the living space, uplight atop the shelf on your bed's headboard, underneath and/or in the toe kick of the kitchen countertop.. all while using LED strip lighting 4. Some nice drop light above the bed in your bedroom

Those are the kinds of furniture that I've been looking for. It really looks expensive and sophisticated albeit its simplicity in design. It will last a lifetime, too. I have changed my sofa for 2 times already and now it is almost worn out. That is why I would like to have a wooden furniture but looks modern in style like what you have.
