🧀🧀🧀GO PACK GO!!!🧀🧀🧀 Daniel Whelan should have a 99 from PFF. As a Packers fan, we’ve never had a guy boot the ball that far, backed up as far as we were, like 3 times in a row I think! Whelan is a weapon. This was his best game. Last week or week before and this week, he was praised in the post game speech by coach. I don’t pay much attention to punting around the league, but that seemed well above average. 🧀🧀🧀GO PACK GO!!!🧀🧀🧀

I still have a QTR left to grade in the Cardinals game, and man, Preston doesn’t look like same player he did a year ago. Very low stamina and there was a chunk of plays where he really looked like an old man. Wouldn’t be surprised at all if they moved on from before next year and draft a couple more DEs

Yeah, that was me and it was 100% about the matchup. That fact rang true today with Collins being out. Nixon is a better run support corner than Stokes, but what did the Packers do when they needed a more coverage based approach on defense? They put Stokes out there. 4:49 Stefon Diggs has not been dominant in years, he was good on the bills, but he has not been in the same form as he was in Minnesota for quite a while.

Im a Packer fan from Chicago and I love what you do. Been a Packer fan my whole life and have been lucky enough to be working up here for the better part of the summer and early season. I most likely found you thanks to the algorithm, lol. But I must say, I’m not defending PFF grades but have you considered that the reason a player who gave up 1 or 0 receptions but has a sub 75 coverage grade could be because that there were plays that their responsibility was open but didn’t get the target. Are you really watching all 22 on every play? Cause I guarantee they are

Great to see Eric Wilson getting a good grade, but I'm sorry how was he the only packer (who played lots of snaps) to get a 75+ grade on defence. The defence was awesome against a very capable offense and yet the grades don't reflect that at all. That Tucker Kraft grade makes me laugh too. I feel like the guy would have to catch every single pass that Love throws in a game AND run them all in for TDs in order to get a good PFF grade! The Daniel Whelan grade is the biggest joke of the lot. Don't know how he could have punted any better and he recovered that bad long snap for the FG - yet PFF thinks he had an average game. LOL.

I feel an argument could be made that if Keisean Nixon doesn't lay out Tank Dell in the endzone to force him out of bounds, that's a touchdown, and he was technically in Evan Williams zone, or at least right between his and nixon's. if that is indeed the play they consider the Williams-on-dell coverage snap. In other words, in PFF's view, if Nixon doesn't come in out of his zone and push Dell out of bounds, Evan Williams lets up a touchdown in his zone. Regardless though that shouldn't have tanked his grade as much as it did.

Bo Melton caught a 3rd down pass to extend a scoring drive. Romeo Doubs caught 8 of 10 targets, averaging 2.97 yards per route run and made 4 of 5 contested catches. Zach Tom gave up 2 pressures but earned the line’s top run-blocking grade. Jordan Love made 3 big-time throws and was excellent when he kept clean. Ben Sims was the team’s highest-graded run blocker, and he made 1 catch. Eric Wilson produced a team-high 4 stops, including 2 sacks, 2 other tackles for a loss, and he broke up a pass on 3rd down. Quay Walker had a tackle and was solid in coverage over 13 snaps before exiting with a concussion. Rashan Gary produced a team-high 6 pressures, including 2 quarterback hits and his 1st sack since Week 1. He also had 2 run stops. Xavier McKinney got home on both of his blitz attempts, including 1 ending in a 3rd-down sack. Javon Bullard was solid against the run and finished with 3 stops. Jayden Reed dropped 2 passes and produced only 10 receiving yards on 32 routes run. Christian Watson caught only 1 pass and was stopped for a loss on his lone rushing attempt, and he graded out poorly as a run blocker. Quay Walker gave up 3 pressures, including a sack, and struggled in the running game. Sean Rhyan gave up a sack and was only average in the running game. Tucker Kraft caught 3 passes, including a touchdown, but he averaged 0.92 yards per route run on 36 routes. Lukas Van Ness played 32 snaps, including 22 as a pass-rusher, but wasn’t credited with a pressure. He also missed 2 tackles. Edgerrin Cooper missed 2 tackles, gave up 2 completions into his coverage and earned a poor run defense grade. T.J. Slaton played 22 snaps against the run but missed 2 tackles and earned a poor run defense grade. Preston Smith was on the field for a season low 28 snaps, and he didn’t register a single pressure. Colby Wooden had a quarterback hit but wasn’t effective against the run. Corey Ballentine was responsible for losing a fumble on the punt return, but he also had a tackle. Matt Orzech had a poor snap on a punt and the final field goal attempt, but he also had a tackle. Eric Wilson had 1 tackle and 1 miss. Zayne Anderson had a tackle. Kingsley Enagbare and Arron Mosby were flagged for penalties, Arron Mosby’s holding negated a long kickoff return from Keisean Nixon. Brandon McManus made all 4 of his kick attempts. Daniel Whelan averaged 51.8 net yards, a season high. Jordan Love had 3 big-time throws and 2 turnover-worthy plays, matching his touchdown and interception total. He completed 80.8% of passes and threw 3 touchdown passes from clean pockets but struggled against pressure. Jordan Love connected on only 2-of-7 attempts over 20 yards, but 2 of those were touchdowns. When throwing between 0-9 yards, Jordan Love was 14-for-15 passing. The Green Bay Packers used play-action on only 6 dropbacks. C.J. Stroud was under pressure on 15 of his 29 dropbacks, or 51.7%. He completed only 3 passes for 14 yards and took 4 sacks while he was under pressure. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

Think Cooper's low grade is due to the analysts grading him on poorly on tackling. I noticed him getting through the D line too quickly on a couple of occasions on running plays. Cos he burst through so fast, he could only get a tug on the jersey as the back ran past him and didn't really disrupt the run. Now, that said, I loved the explosiveness of it & he was a little unlucky not to affect them plays, but like Bas said in the vid, pff grades don't give a great picture overall. Anyone who watched him play knows he's a talent

So yeah I get this. So I just went and watched all 29 coverage snaps for Williams. There are only 3 occasions you could argue he wasnt in the best position and two are subjective based on how you feel about the LB's depth. 1 - 9:39 in 1st - 28yd to Schultz. Williams is deep middle in C3. Maybe could have played this more aggressive, but the LB's could have gotten deeper as well. Hard to say. 2 - 7:07 in 3rd - INC to Diggs. Broken/extended play. Diggs turns his post into a corner and gains a few steps on Williams. Poor throw by Stroud. 3 - 3:19 in 3rd - 17yd to Diggs. Again, maybe could have played this more agressive, but he's also single high. LB's yet again could have been a tad deeper. Subjective If 3 plays equals a 42.1 coverage grade that's wild. I don’t think you understand what PFF does if you’re confused about Evan Williams’ grade. Just because he had no catches allowed dosent mean he was perfect in coverage.
