Reacting to Pentatonix Prayers For This World Official Video

Legendary songwriter Dianne Warren wrote this in 2017 for Cher to sing in a documentary about the crisis in Syria. Cher recorded it and did a music video but decided not to release it so Warren offered it to Pentatonix. She worked with the group to revamp it a bit and it was included on their 2022 Christmas album.

They are better than we deserve. They seem to have the ability to release songs that the world really needs to hear. Some songs that I think fall in that category are That’s Christmas to Me, Sing, Imagine, Amazing Grace, Mad World, Thank You, The Prayer, and now Prayers for This World. We need to keep making Pentaholics so people can hear the beautiful and important messages that they regularly put

I knew this Song was written by Dianne Warren for Cher. It Had some versus re written for pentatonix. Kevin was one of the co-writers with Dianne Warren For the PTX version of the song. There is a behind the scenes video for prayers for this world. PTX's Song I rise which you reacted to on the visualizer. Just as you said that prayers for this world was written about the state of affairs going on now. I feel that their song I, rise is A call to action for society To Turn around From the state of affairs that is going on now.

I subscribed to your channel about two weeks ago. I do not normally subscribe to those who just listen to songs. However, you have specifically touched my heart the way that you have grasped what PTX has done and will continue to do. They are amazing singers, and performers. If you ever get a chance, look for any song that they have done live, and you will be amazed at how perfect they are even live.!
