Bass jam has to be one of the best closing tracks on any rap album, it’s the perfect track to end quaranta on since in more ways than one it’s the perfect antithesis to 30 on XXX. It just feels like he finally liberated himself from a dark place.

I feel Bass Jam encapsulate what Bobs whole channel is about. The lyrical impact, and the value we see in music based on the context of the songs, and that it isnt necessarily about the sound, but about how it makes us feel.

didn’t really appreciate Bass Jam until listened to the album in its entirety and by the end was crying like a mf. it hit so hard even though i don’t know the man personally. no funny bars no punchlines, just Danny, Daniel this time. this is truly beautiful. For as much as Danny Brown is known for his over the top persona, Detroit really breeds so many unique artist. J Dilla, Elzhi, Royce da 5’9, Eminem, Black Milk and a bunch of others 🤙🏼 Danny Brown manages to stay true to himself and never “faked” his character. It was more of a mask sometimes to hide the pain and he takes it off for this project and presents himself in his most vulnerable state. Really a true artist 🙌🏼

I attended a listening party in Austin Texas for this album with Danny Brown himself attending and hosting it alongside Idea Generation (Episode will be coming out soon on Idea Generation Channel) And Danny Brown mentioned how this album was made during the pandemic era so he was just locked in and writing his thoughts out, Even Danny said that listening to this album was a bit uncomfortable now given that he is now sober and doing a lot better. Invincible is insane. I'm still young but feel I've gone through enough to make me too tired some days. I've lost everyone I loved except my only brother. My girlfriend of 2 years is now the only person I love that's near me. My brother lives in Cali and I'm in London. Too far. It's tough sometimes. Tool has literally saved my life, as cringe as it may sound to many. Tool is my favorite band. Incredible music. Open to interpretation while also giving powerful messages. Ones that make you question, research, learn, humble yourself, learn to deal with life. Losing my mom to cancer in 2021 was tough. My only parent. At 28. I was not prepared. The months leading up were tough. It was quick too. COVID didn't help being able to see her until I did the tests to go live with her until she died. It was hard. I can stress that enough. I held a lot in. I was there alone too. Until I had my flight back home. 2 weeks of doing nothing. I delayed my flight to be with her until the end. It came sooner than we thought. Sorry for sharing too much. Smoking helps me open up I guess.
