Fun fact. The group that composed the sample for "One Beer" recently performed for the first time EVER in the USA. They did this in NYC in 2022. At their performance, several rappers showed up, due to them being introduced to the group through DOOM's music. People that attended the performance at the small theatre included Tyler The Creator, Action Bronson, Madlibs, Earl Sweatshirt, and Joey Bada$$.

DOOM's villain persona came about after he was scorned by the music industry following the death of his brother who he worked with while they were apart of KMD. His connection to Doom, the character, comes where both were wronged - Doom, by himself, and DOOM, by the industry - both returning later with the mask and a burning passion for "vengeance" and becoming their respective "villains."

12:13 DOOM is legitimately using this skit as a warning against the dangers of eating food that have been processed, genetically modified, or contain dangerous additives. The beat really serves the purpose with its alarming tone. He touches on this message with "Beef Rapp," especially the bar about feeding babies colored sugar-coated lard squares, then years later he revisited the concept on the JJ DOOM project making a track dedicated to the topic with "GMO." But haters will tell you he just spit gibberish.

11:05 space Ghost coast to coast is a really really good cartoon, watch it i think it's on the internet archive. It reuses characters from an old hanna-barbera cartoon and puts them in a sort of talk show. Theres even an episode with björk and thom yorke. It's also the first adult swim show and DOOM did some voice acting stuff for adult swim. He even did an album with danger mouse and in collaboration with adult swim where every song is based on a show and samples them, it's a good album too.

6:14 - another Easter Egg on the song or the beat rather, Madlib also made another version of it for the producer/rapper duo Jaylib called "No Games", the other rapper was J Dilla. The album was called Champion Sound, it came out in 2003 before Madvillainy. The album's concept was the artists trading beats and lyrics over each other songs but didn't go back and forth as rappers. They unfortunately only collaborated as a rap duo one time and it was on J Dilla's posthumous album The Shining

(Edit: Very important part forgot to mention, after the tragedy of his brothers death, and being homeless for 6 years, DOOM felt as if the world was against him (like the characters in marvel comics are against Dr. Doom) and his distain for the rappers at the time (like Dr. Dooms hatred towards superheroes) it was almost like a perfect coincidence)
