Yo im late to the party but listening to "like a g6", she definitely did the demo track for dev's part. For context why she dropped her street phase, is because she left the industry/her team for a whole new scene in the uk due to management disagreements. Thats why her sound went so underground and is heard everywhere (amy winehouse, m.i.a., marina and the diamonds, etc)

Serene Queen is a lust for life outtake. It doesn’t make sense on hindsight, but to those who know that lust for life was originally supposed to be very witch-y instead of pop-y like how it ended up being, it makes perfect sense.
