This song is from The Great Gatsby soundtrack written from the perspective of Daisy. I find it interesting that Lana has the 2 teardrops since Daisy caused the deaths of 2 people.

This is my favorite Lana song, it is so relatable and I used to listen to it on my phone coming back home from high school looking out of the bus window. I feel like this is one of girls biggest insecurities, we are treated like dolls and judged by our looks since kids and as we grow we fear loosing this attention, this femininity even... I love your video, and yes, she is very distracting. 😂❤

Honestly I don’t know how she does that. She has the gift to make you remember something you had, or, and this is wherever it gets to the Woah level, remember something you have never done nor seen. But you think you have, bc the lyrics go so deep. This happens a-lot with Lana’s music. But really makes you think back to the days of being forever wild, hit summer nights… it always gets me. And I can’t decide if it’s good or bad 😅 Thanks for the video Mere! Greetings from 🇫🇮

Loved the reaction Mere! I think tou would really love "Wild at heart" it's a song from Chemtrails Over the Country Club. It's about Lana being unapologetically herself, and understanding that people love her for who she is.

Hi Mere! I love your videos and im reading your book rn!! To answer your question, the song was written and recorded some time in 2012 by Lana and Rick Nowels. It was intended to be used on her studio album/ep "Paradise". In June 2012, when asked what music would be on her new album/ep, on a Spanish radio station, Lana sang the chorus acapella. The song was referred to as "Will You Still Love Me When I'm No Longer Young and Beautiful". The song was reworked/rewrote for The Great Gatsby in 2013 and was released as a single on April 23 2013. The song is between "Paradise" and "Ultraviolence"

This song references "Lolita", another song by Lana. In this song she says she wants her cake, she doesn't have relationships with boys because she has a man, but she's actually too young for him. Young And Beautiful makes clear her fear of losing this man because now she's had her cake (this could mean she had a birthday, probably 30) and now she's scared of losing this man because she knows he only likes of young girls. Hope this helps. Love your channel 🖤

I think that when she sings "play with me like a child" she wanna say that her partner does funny things with her and that nobody of them take care about the consequences. Just like children do. In fact, it shows the complicity that exists between lovers.
