Love that you're doing this. It can be hard to really put yourself in Ren's shoes, I can't imagine what it can be like to have your body betray you to the point where it truly breaks down your mind. These chapters really help put everything into perspective. As a musician myself, I had a ton of respect for Ren from the first track I heard, and that respect has only grown over time, especially when I realized how much he has had to battle just to be here today.

After the last year and a half of 5 day a week treatments, Ren still relapsed back almost to square one triggering his PTSD. and making it clear thst he will not be able to tour. Live performance is what he likes doing most. He cried a bit telling us. He admitted he will probably have autoimmunity fir life and he will need to manage his stress and energy output.

I am so glad you decided to do the chapters! I’m so very excited to finish and see the reacts to follow. Maybe after seeing them you may want to revisit a song or two cause after this it will all have so much more meaning. I had to go back through a ton of stuff I listened to afterwards to catch all the meaning I missed.

I'm so glad you're doing these. I've been wanting to watch them but really didn't want to watch them "alone". I've had a lot of trauma happen in the last few yrs & wasn't sure if I could make it through these chapters. It's so weird like he said, how you can feel almost numb to new losses in your life but hearing about someone else's losses are enough to break you.

I don’t believe Callum died in “the same way” as Joe and the third friend. I am pretty sure I read somewhere that he was with a group of friends at the beach celebrating a graduation or something of that nature. Unsure if his judgement was a little compromised by the celebrations but ocean currents can be very dangerous if you get caught in them - especially on a rough day. (I grew up on the west coast of Denmark and have heard multiple stories of tourists drowning by drifting too far out on blowup boats, not knowing how dangerous strong waters can be). Whatever the details are, Ren has certainly had to deal with far too much loss, when far too young 😢
