Leonard Rossiter and the whole cast were all superb actors. The script was brilliant too. Rossiter's surreal series 'The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin' later became a cult in the US.

The actor who plays the policeman is George Sewell. He was in many great TV series and flims in the 1970s and 80s - terrific character actor.

Very underrated 70s comedy. I suggested Rising Damp on After Work Reactions' Patreon ages ago & one of his followers dismissed it as 'racist'. It irritated the hell out of me considering how progressive this actually was & still is. Oh well, their loss i guess

Megan if you're looking for Christmas content you won't go far wrong with steptoe&son Christmas special 1972 with Leonard rossiter as special guest star,he apparently plays an escaped convict.its a classic, two lines to me that stand out are.I LIKE LUMPY PORRIDGE, THE OTHER THEY DONT KNOW THEY WERE BORN THESE DAYS.hopefully you will show the full episode.

Megan i really enjoyed that reaction the full episode no stop pause talking starting again, you'd be surprised how many youtube reactions are spoilt with copyright sprawled over the video with a strange background noise.theres this new woman/man youtuber only does audio of tv shows its just crazy i said to him that his channel wout grow under that format he said he didnt want to break any youtube laws,so megan ruth credit where credits due.
