It's about not wanting to comply to the expectations/pressure of society (smoking, drinking, being a husband, a father, a partner, an outgoing child). RM always felt as an outsider, not fitting in. First he's confused, depressed in every situation. Within the third woman he recognizes himself. She's also confused, struggling with life, just like him. She's the female version of him. When he realizes he's not alone with his feelings and that a lot of people are struggling with life, he starts to accept himself and his feelings. He realizes now that you don't have to be perfect to be content in the moment. Now he can be happy in every situation (he found his Spring). Now hat he's confident he can get through the door and fase the struggles in life, the endless choices you have to make in life and the different consequences they have (represented by the maze of rooms). With the title he's asking himself to come back to him (mentally), back by his senses. The overall theme is self-accepteptance and his journey of self-discovery (finding out what he wants in life). Bookish theories made an explanation video about it.

I'm just as confused as you, but the storyline did remind me of FRI(END)S by V. Both slightly different bc instead of Namjoon being alone, he was just out of it with the world until he met that girl. What I'm getting from this is that he's lonely? 😭 Also the aesthetic is so NAMJOON!! this is namjoon core and yes he's releasing an album soon. This is just an appetizer lmao & it's crazy how they're still releasing music while in the military. They keep us fed 🥲
