SOS needs to be given the respect due to him. But he needs to also stand up for the club that has given him so much. Sometimes biting ones tough is the best thing to do. SOS still has so much to give to the club. Carlton can really use him.

Can somebody get Seb a bloody phone holder. It's not like you're hard up for a buck Seb. They're nice and inexpensive from Supacheap Auto.

Well taking Betts instead of Butler was one of the biggest list management mistakes in history! Both Butler and Ellis had better seasons then Jack Martin also
@matthewdunford9064 жыл бұрын
totally agree, being a tiger fan, both butler and ellis were fantastic for us and knew butler would be awesome for the saints, unfortunately betts is past it and martin was disappointing

@@matthewdunford906 Martin wasn't disappointing... what are you talking about. Martin had a far better season than Ellis. Martin was one of the best for Carlton this season.

Martin walked into Carlton for nothing, I was pretty happy with his year.

I agree sos has his own interests great to see he’s gone. Maybe a part time defence coaching role is more suited

At the end of the day, Cain Little won't ever be remembered as a Carlton great. Inside knowledge is that Kane is on his last chance. One more stuff up and he will be sacked.

Carlton has been a mess for 20 years most people that have come into the club over that time have failed and just added to the mess. Collective mess drowns any club just a matter of time before they fall apart as a club off field. A CEO is required to make hard decisions and this may be the most positive thing to happen to Carlton. Silvagni's argument about paying Betts more than Simpson is not that bright more factors than loyalty come into player values including PR value and if the call by the CEO is made the staff have to abide by that decision that's the reality. Only time will tell but you can't make decisions based on someone's past playing history you make them on the club fit at the time and the CEO is an extension of the board so Silvagni is on a hiding to nothing fighting that decision.

Is their anything better then kicking 5 goals against Geelong on grand finale day and celebrating with stomping on a Geelong players head, just to let the opposition where the place is.

Sos would sabotage trades so his sons get a game, but there not at afl standard. He doesn't love Carlton he lagged on as bout the salary cap in early 2000's and only came back to the club so his son gets a game. U can't love something and try burie as like that, that's not love!

Rubbish. SOS came forward with Bradley to clear the air so we got one penalty only. It would have come out eventually. He would never sabotage the trade period or draft. Ridiculous assertion from Liddle.
@bigp10734 жыл бұрын
So the way he tried to burie Carlton I'm guessing that's love to u fools also. He was a good player but that doesn't make him a good recruiter.
@ODN674 жыл бұрын
@@bigp1073 Bury Carlton or tell the truth about what Liddle said? Liddle isn't Carlton. He's just a suit who is good at bringing in membership revenue. A little more respect for a past champion please. What SOS said doesn't undo his good work as a recruiter.

SOS was such a great player but watching him and his wife in the stands watching their son gives me bad vibes he would never make a decision that would negatively impact his son how can that let this happen. Can’t stand nepotism
