In recent years, thanks to the internet, my eyes have opened and I have learnt so much that I didn't know before. Regarding Amnesty International: I tried to apply for a job and said "One of my motivations is putting a focus on less reported atrocities." and gave some of the mentioned examples and more especially regarding violations coming from China, India and Syria. Result: The conversation ended nearly instantly! "You'll hear back from us." Of course I never heard back from them. That was the moment when I started to grasp how deeply rotten Amnesty International is! I give you a great deal of credit for sticking to facts and figures and avoiding name calling and similar non-factual and often slanderous comments. I am almost 69 years old and have learned that in cases such as the Israel vs. Palestinians (not unlike the Democrats vs. the Republicans in the USA today), all the facts in the world will not change the minds of most people whose minds are made up. Those folks won't even seriously read the facts, investigate themselves or devote serious time to contemplating logical fact-based arguments from an opposing view. I guess what I am driving at is to encourage you to not give up, to not get angry or upset ---- but also not to expect to change many hearts and minds of those people with blinders on and a pre-determined answer, irrespective of facts and history. Keep up the good work. It is a joy to listen to the facts --- many of which I have checked out myself and have yet to find fault with.

The last trip we wanted to migrate there from europe where we live but changed our minds.. Am of African origin and so have experience of the good, the Ugly and the wonderful when i see it. Not naive but observant of human rights and justice. I saw a land doing its best despite being vilified. We travelled in and out of Jewish side into Arab Israeli villages and then the melting pot that Tel Aviv and Haifa are as well as Nazareth, Golan, Arad and Beersheba. Binyamina, Natanya, Tiberias, Aviel and lil villages. We did the usual Christian trails of Jesus footsteps and came away happy to do another trip a year later.

I wondered about just a couple of days ago when amongst the usual corona-litany and the never ending back and forth on the election of our head of state the Italian news dedicated 5 minutes to the eviction of a Palestinian family (who previously had menaced to blast the building with a gas bottle). It started from 1971 Indo-Pak war where Israel despite being an ally of US and anti Soviet stood by India against all the odds and contributed in India’s war seeking independence for Bangladesh that was tormented by Pak Army at that time. India at that time was a soviet ally and Nixon’s Govt threw it’s weight behind Pakistan After that Israel has played a very important role in developing and training India’s defence forces and enhancing it&/ capability. This has been glorified a lot by the Indian Media which has had a huge impact on people’s psyche. Another point is people are always in the awe of zero tolerance approach of Israel in it’s dealing with terrorism. India in first decade of 21st century faced the worst form of home grown terrorism where almost every city of India was attacked including firing at Parliament and in Mumbai in 2008, hence Indians have always looked upto the way Israel deals with this problem since then it’s created lot of enthusiasm. A few years ago I had a conversation with a colleque (it happened in USA). He has been explaining me how to solve the "Israel - Palestinian" conflict for about 20 minuts. I could not avoid noticing that his knowledge of the domain was quite oversimplified and superficial, i.e. based on mass-media. Then I asked him if he knows equally well how to solve the problems with US natives. He answered "Oh, that's complicated. Very complicated. We tried everything but there is no solution." I did not answer ... it took him a few minutes to realise what do I think of his "solution" of Middle East conflicts. In my entire life, I have never heard a single anti-Israeli sentiment that was based on deep knowledge of the Israel, the situation around it, and its history.

As Oren pointed out, facts matter. Here is a fact: only 3-4% of the transatlantic slave trade went to North America. Shocking but true. More slaves were transported from Africa to Jamaica than to the United States during the ~350 years of African slave trading. He also avoids the main issue. Why SHOULD the Arabs have accepted a partition plan? They were a large majority in what is now Israel/Palestine in 1948 and over 90% of the Jewish population were the result of immigration within the previous 25 years. Furthermore, they were almost all Ashkenazi Jews from Europe who we now know from modern science have a majority European DNA. They were allowed in by a European power, the UK, and Israel was recognised by an embryonic UN dominated by European countries or European-settled ex-colonies and only European-ruled states had a veto. Most of the world was then under European colonial administration (including most Arab countries), and had no say in UN decisions. So why should the Palestinians have accepted partition?

Such is their training and thats why we shouldn’t try to fight a war we know we will lose. To protect the privileged lives we are living. Unfortunately Palestine doesn’t understand this.

I respect you Oren in how you touch so many topics and there are many people that have no maturity to answer without being sarcastic, anti Semitic because they know no different and would never change. You and I would may have our different opinions but I also can respect your ideas and opinions. Jewish people’s would not be intentional killers like others around them and they do have to protect themselves, I witness young IDF especially at Western Wall when I was there and Yes you’re right we don’t hear the real truth in what happens in Muslim countries, I will stand with Israel and love you being honest. I am a Canadian Christian and proud of it and through the God of Israel and the Jewish people who was chosen to be God’s people and write the Holy scriptures they have gone through so much down through history. Yes all humans Jews and Gentiles are not perfect but the Jews have been targeted so unfairly and many Christians are today in some countries. Your comment is cute :-) , but you should know that what Oren is saying at the end of his videos, is "yalla bye". "Yalla" is a word in Arabic, not in Hebrew, but still many Israelis say that word. It has become a very common/popular slang word in Israel. We use it when we want to say "hurry up" or "come on", depending on the situation...If you want someone to hurry up, you can say "yalla". And if you want someone to come with you somewhere, the person can respond to you by saying "yalla". And also, like Oren says at the end of his videos, when you want to say bye/goodbye to someone, then you can use "Yalla bye", and then it's like saying "Come on, bye" (Of course not in the rude sense of "Come on already, I want to end the conversation with you, bye", but in a good friendly sense [Of course] ).

Thank you for sharing accurate information on this subject. It is extremely frustrating how much disinformation is accepted as fact among "woke" people in the USA. I hope more people watch your videos. I consider myself "woke" and anti-racist, but I am not brainwashed into thinking Israel is some kind of evil empire. It is truly a beacon of freedom and reasonable policies in the Middle East. Unfortunately, Israel is becoming more far-right. I don't think that is best for Israel's future. I pray for peace. Growing up I didn’t really know my father but I knew he was an Israeli Jew. I know very little about that side of my family but I know many were murdered in WW2. I grew up around people who said the Jews were responsible for the death of Jesus. I was confused and honestly ashamed. After October 7th I’ve become acutely aware that I have carried this shame into my adulthood. I watch your videos to learn about this side of my family and to make sense of a feeling I have that what I heard as a little girl was wrong. This is why I “like” your videos. You make me feel proud for the very first time. Thought you should know.
