Spurs aren't just late on switches they're late on everything in general. Passes are often done on the second thought instead of the first. And the pass is open on the first and closing on the second. The hesitation of inexperience is fading but not gone yet

It’s crazy that they had to rely on a 39 year old CP3 to keep the game close. He shouldn’t have to strain his body to keep the game close and to help us win the game. He outproduced both Sochan and Vassell and he’s past his prime.

Spurs, too many turnovers and Wemby needs to be more selfish. Many of his turnovers are happening when he has a clear shot inside, yet tries to pass instead taking the shot. Definitely Vassel should be coming off the bench and not starting.

Multiple times Spurs had a chip shot layup but instead pass out for a three, misses more than they made. 🤬 Wemby make the damn layup instead of passing out 🤬

Bassey was awful. He makes dumb fouls and cant protect the ball. I know a lot of people want him to play over Zach Collins, but in my honest opinion, Zach Collins is the lesser of two evils. In reality we need them both gone for a new backup center. Castle needs to work on his shot selection too. Also, cp3 needs more minutes. Tre Jones has fallen off. If cp3 played the whole 4th quarter we would've won this game by double digits. But I have weird feeling this game was thrown by design.. Spurs have the Bulls protected top 10 pick so we want them to have a better record. Makes me wonder if thats why Cp3 and Wemby sat minutes in the fourth. Just a hunch

Whether it was intentional or not, that's why I can't be too mad at this loss. Any increased chance of getting that Bulls pick to convey is a plus in my book. They're currently 10th right now, so hopefully can slide up one more spot by the FO being dumb and NOT trading Vuc or Lavine or anybody that helps them win 😂

Been saying it for a long while. Zach Collins, while not a great player, is significantly more consistent than Bassey. And while Bassey is certainly a better Rim Protector and offensive board grabber, Zach is better at every other aspect of the game. Specifically screens, and DHOs. Devins and Collins two man game is actually pretty decent. Especially considering that Zach isn't a natural Center, and he doesn't get the benefit of playing with Victor like the rest of the team. Bassey and Zachs job have been to be the lone big man of the 2nd unit to give Victor a breather. Like you said, the lesser of two evils. But the Spurs definitely need to target a new back up big.

Mitch Johnson is a horrible coach. Keeping Wemby out too long toward the end of the 4th qtr. And I've said this before and I'll stand by it....Sochan is overrated. He is NOT a clutch player and often ruins the tempo of the game. Wemby, Castle (who Mitch Johnson is not playing enough, or at the right time), and Vasell; are the only non-expendable young players.

sochan is great, he shouldn’t be the one to make clutch shots to begin with. This is an overall offensive and coaching problem. If our game plan leads to a sochan 3, that’s just our team as a whole being stupid.

Nah sochan is just a really good defensive player but an awful offensive player, the problem is that they create him shot opportunities when he really should be a more mobile rudy gobert
