Several of the members were still teenagers when they wrote / released Hellevator. They wrote it about their experience as trainees, their anxieties, their fear of failure and their determination to succeed no matter what.

Considering their age range is 16 to 20 here, their rapping, singing etc is incredible! Especially Han, 16/17 years old and rapping like a God, and hitting that high note 😍 and that voice of Felix being that deep at 16/17 years old lol.... And yeah, Binnie's raspy/gravelly voice at 19 years old

@@WhiteCollarRhymes You won't disappointed. You've watched what they're capable of now, so your journey watching them grow to what they are now, will be fantastic for you. Thank you for recognizing the amazing rapping of Han, the one that spit bars as you said. He was only 16/17 when he wrote that rap. His raps have obviously gotten even better, but he's always had that talent. Thank you for reacting to these guys. Along the way, you'll see a little bit of everything, something unique to Stray Kids. I look forward to seeing your reactions.

And... that's how you react/review new music. I loved your previous reactions to skz and this one didn't disappoint. One of my favorite things these days is watching skz reactions (im a baby stay and have a lot to catch up, cause they have so much content!) And i must say that your reactions have been my favorites so far, cause u analyze everything, the vocals, the rap, the choreography, the video, the production... i mean, is a complete review, it just show that u are a musician and really enjoy music. Im really glad i found your videos and im looking forward to your SKZ journey. My advice is that u react to the title tracks (singles) first, but i must say that there are b-sides that are insane as well. Of course we (stays) will have hundreds of recommendations but i personally want to recommend "the tortoise and the hare" i really think is a masterpiece, lyrically, musically... it doesn't have a video but i recommend u watch/listen de lyric video (lyric color coded i think). Anyways, thank you for this, I'll be waiting for the time you became a stay and learn their names and fall in love of them 😅

Such an impressive debut. Ambitious, raw, innovative, & packing a very strong emotional punch. They created their own lane, and with this song & MV, they made sure you knew it would be a wide lane. And they have absolutely delivered on all the future promise you feel they are offering in this song/MV. Great reaction.

Tyty for this reaction! Love your presentation style and actual knowledgeable commentary! It always impresses the hell out of me that teenagers created this song/stage before they were even guaranteed to debut. Once you get a chance to react to the survival show, your mind will be blown seeing what they went through to create this single...honestly made want to scream/cry. Also, as a new STAY myself, I've begun to try to figure the lore out, and I believe this mv is a good starting point. You will see lavender fields, elevators, and inverted cities in the sky again in the future. There will also be many new repeating symbols. The lore chain stretches all the way to the present, so be on the lookout if you like puzzles❤

I saw your reaction for Bang Chan's guide on the other channel, its still good but its outdated. Recently theres a new guide, called "The Complete 2024 guide to Stray Kids" by Chandora's World, you can react to that instead if you want to know the boys more! (both personality and talent) Its lengthy (2hrs), but you can split it up per member. This is just my suggestion. Love your Stray Kids reaction❤

I'm glad you're feeling better - and thanks for the great reaction! As you know, this was a pre-debut song, but it was written as a challenge on their survival show. They didn't have much time to write, learn dance moves, and shoot the video. It's cool to see how they all came together during that time. I also highly recommend watching the Stray Kids Survival Show.

Hi! I just found your channel subbed to you. Thank you for checking out stray kids. I really appreciate the way you talk about the music and their production. I think their music production deserves more credit than it gets. This song Hellevator was created as a challenge in their Survival Show which was a show that would decide whether they would debut or not. You can check out the entire music making process for this song in one or two of those episodes. Bang Chan- stayed up nights for arranging and composing the song and then re arranging it to a 9 member version. Han and Changbin worked on the lyrics. And Hyunjin, Felix, Lee Know worked on the choreography. Me personally, as much as I love their music, I also like their music *_making_* process just as equally. So I really appreciate it. Thank you!

I don't know if someone explained that to you last time, but you shouldn't expect anything from stray kids. In 6 years and a half they have done 57 genres in their long discography ! I want to thank you for pointing out Lee know's rap (the one you called aggressive). To explain why I say that, he is a dancer that became an idol and during the survival show he was not a good vocalist so the judge told him to do this rap part. Which he obviously did a really good job at but now he has gotten better at singing so he mainly gets vocals, but he still have at least 1 rap in all of their albums. But despite that he is a really underrated rappers, most people don't even think of including him in the rap line which I found sad since he is good ! On another topic the city at the end is called the Upside down and it's part of their story line. I don't know if anyone explained it to you but if not I might do it when you'll react to District 9 which should be the next song ! And i know you said that you would only react to the main track, but for the next album I would definetly recommend you to react to Mirror because you will probably enjoy it a lot !

Second, I would vote for "case 143" for stray kids next, as it will show you some versatility comparing to those we have already worked on. And third, I would like to recommend a very fresh group, recently formed in a survival show. I guess you would enjoy: "Zerobaseone - Crush" ❤

It's funny you mentioned safe because Chan/Chris was criticised by JYP for making the guys sing in a female key....glad he stuck to his guns cause I love this song! I swear this one could easily get radio play but I think I'm unfortunately dreaming there 😕 It is about their Hell ride to get to their dreams originally the track by Chan was just called Elevator. Easy is another one of my favs from back a bit...same as Be Me...but I can list all their songs if I'm being realistic with myself 😂

@@WhiteCollarRhymes Well, I believe in giving people their props. I don't meet many young people nowadays that are both eloquent as well as masters of structured and logic thought, so hats off to you. Contemporary instruction demands that we integrate teaching 21st century skills along with our main subjects. So thank you, because your videos are giving me fabulous real-life samples of what successful public speaking and presentation of ideas and/or rationale sounds like. I can build whole speaking lessons around these! May I ask what your academic background is and which part of the UK you're from? My students will ask, for sure.
